I've never really set up danger rooms, they don't train dodge, at all, or just not very fast?

DR normally train dodge very slow because the dwarf usually parries or blocks all atacks instead of dodging them. If you retire the weapons and shields it trains dodge VERY fast.

This is a known bug. It annoyed the hell out of me, but there is a binary patch around that solves this and some other bugs.

Miners work superb as soldiers. I usually embark with a couple of dorfs (the ones with better stats of the seven) with proficient dodge and armor user skills, use them as miners until they are legendary, and make them soldiers. This way you can start with legendary soldiers.

It seems that some bug teleported the demon from hell.

Now we have to find how to reproduce and weaponice this.

Dorf me as an axedorf or some other type of soldier. Either gender is fine.

2:Go to the embark screen in the copies save and use it as your map.

This is a known bug. Some worlds just don't allow for vampire spreading, no matter what you do.
The only fix o this is gen a new one.

Indeed. Note that in adventure mode, there is not skill cap at legendary+5, and skill levels always raise performance. I had an adventurer
that reached skill user legendary+153. At this point he could travel through hell killing demon packs withouth taking a sweat.
I think i managed to kill three hundred demons until one with deadly dust managed to kill me.

I put everybody in the fort (except miners, woodcutters and the real soldiers) in inactive squads with leather armor. No more clothing issues,
AND everybody is more protected just in case.

either you chain them, or you surround then completely with fortifications, leaving only a 1 tile space. (where you have put the cage,
connected to a lever to free the necromancer when the construcion is done.)

Captured necros are realy, really useful.

A few uses:

Training. A necro behind fotificatations and a bridge can be used to make infinite training dummies.

Defense: Put the necromancer in a tower outside, again with behind fortifications and bridges. When a siege comes, lower the bridge and let
the zombies kill the enemies. When all of them are dead, close the bridge and use your military kill the (much weaker) zombies.

Leather farm: Necromancers can rise skin. Zombie skins can be cuted in many zombie skins. You can exploit this to make infinite dragon leather.

I just did an experiment. The test subjets died of thirst. Apparently dwarfs cannot drink while swimming.
