You could use a 1 z-level drop. Adventurers could easily get in, but the AI wouldn't consider it an option.

I'm pretty sure this is coming eventually. Even the weakest bandits should at least have a cave or a few tents.
It would be awesome if bandits took over a player made fort.

The weapons in this game could use a lot of expansion and rebalancing.

Why did they have to make dyslexia so hard to spell? It is really unfair.
I have minor dyslexia, can't copy text at all, have to do it one letter at a time, and my writing is illegible. I am great at reading though.
My dad also has dyslexia, he is an extremely slow reader.

I don't think anyone yet has mentioned marshmallows. They are necessary for hot chocolate.

The best way to make it (realistically) would probably be using a campfire.

Something similar happened to me once. I went to a bandit camp, met a friendly bandit and recruited him. Then I met his boss, who was still hostile, and my friend stabbed me in the back.

I survived and killed them all. That adventurer still hasn't died.

You should try to rescue as many people as you can, and bring them to the tower. Be a hero!

I thought elves ate their dead. Or is that just for their enemies?
I think it would be cool if when an elf dies a tree grows where it was laid to rest. That tree could then contain the "soul" of the elf, sort of like a ghost. Not sure if that would affect gameplay, except for giving elves an actual motivation to protect the trees.

I think the suggestion, though rather crudely phrased, is for children to have a greater role in the fort. Right now they basically just sit around wasting booze doing nothing for the first 12 years of their lives. I think children should have apprenticeships with worker dwarves, where they learn that skill and help them with the work (getting resources from the stockpile, keeping the workshop clean, things like that). Apprenticeship is much more dwarfy that school in my opinion.

Add milk, add chocolate, add pepper spray. the spiciness will make it seem hot, no actual heat required. It's efficient!

It would be a good idea to add mirrors that can reflect light. That way the dwarves could have one massive central light source, and direct it all over the fortress with mirrors. Not sure of it's effect on frame rate though.
