Communicate to my squad mates via sign language that we should join the assault on the command bunker. Join the assault on floor three. Treat the bad guys like support bugs, and gut them via my bayonet.

The cavalry has arrived! Are we riding our airboats in as reinforcements? If so, be the gunner. Replace all enemy structures/personal with bullets from the top gun. (bullets are notoriously structurally unsound)

((So I had a rather nasty viral infection turn into acute bronchitis, and I'm on about 3 different medications right now. Everything is delayed until I am no longer on the brink of death. I will bump the thread again when/if that happens.))

Anyway, we did keep the sword, so we can save some ammo.

Update

Antonio and Lucky
Sure, we could use some work. What do you have in mind?
"Not we. You. You could use some work. I, quite frankly, could use a pack of smokes, another beer, and a pretty lady to keep me warm tonight." Lucky responds to Antonio before turning to Hank
"But since you're here, why not. Couldn't hurt to have a bit of extra income. What kind of job you need done?"
Job hunting made easy.

Well… we got a few guys that have been causing some trouble for a friend of mine. “Criminals” you could call them. We caught them last night, and we need a few fellows to help us escort them out of town. Security. That would be your job. Payment is 500$ plus some extra stuff we got lying around.
Other than that, we got a caravan going to peat’s pass tomorrow. Our regular guy for this one is not very well liked there anymore, so we were looking for someone new. It’s a relatively safe route into the town, and we would provide security for you. All you have to do is get the goods inside the town, and get the payment your contact. Couple of honest looking guys like you two shouldn’t have any problems with that. Payment is 1500$, contingent upon the safe return of our vessel.

Stuart
"Well.  Thank you kindly."
Mentally strangle the nurse while walking outside, try and find the others I got stranded here with.
(1)You try your best to strangle her with your mind, but your latent psychic powers are yet to manifest themselves. She smiles back at you.
"Well.  Thank you kindly."
You leave the hospital, intent on finding the others you got here with. Before you get very far though, you are stopped by a familiar voice. “Glad to see you came out in one piece”.
Turner approaches you from where he was loitering at the side of the tent. “Just checking up on you. After what ya did for us, I figure we ought to find out if you were still alive. Speaking of which, we owe you a share as well.” He tosses you a small bag of coins. “That’s 700$. 1/13 of our profit. For services rendered. “
“Well thanks, but I don’t know how much help this will actually be” You relay to him your experience with the hospital.
(5)He laughs and grins at you. “Are they still pullin that scheme? They only do that with you fresh fellas. Sometimes they can get two or three whole payments out of a guy before he gets smart to it. They probably didn’t spend more in 200$ putin you back together. Come over here, I can help you with that.”
Turner produces a small pocket knife.
(Iron will) He makes a tiny incision and pulls something from your neck while you grit your teeth and hold still. “There ya go. Pop that red wire to kill the timer, and you got yourself a little explosive to work with.”
You talk for a while longer with turner, thanking him for his help and getting to know him. Eventually, he points you in the direction of your friends and you part ways.
(5)Following Turners directions you find the neon district, filled with restaurants. Remarkably, the first one you enter has your friends in it. They are talking to a man painted grey in a large coat. You walk up and join them at the bar.
((Well aren’t you a lucky bastard. Problems come, and problems go.))
(You have gained a “Small explosive”) (You have gained 700$)

Liktor
"Sounds good, I will assume the reward wont be too stingy."
Liktor accepts the job, and goes to the local armorsmith to see what he can buy with his limited funds.
"Sounds good, I will assume the reward wont be too stingy."
“Keeping the station on air isn’t enough for you? But yes, we're paying 500$ for every man. That’s a whole lot more than you would ever see working guard duty for the wankers out here.”
(1-1=0) ((…sigh a 6 would have had him double it. A 5 would have had him double it with half up front))
"500$! Lord above! That’s ten times what I was making working the town watch!” "
Hank seizes on your incredulity, realizing an opportunity.
“Well now don’t get too excited mate. That’s a maximum. Only if you do your job perfectly. You can probably expect around 350$ all said and done”
“350 dollars! Thank you for this opportunity sir, I really appreciate it. I’ll be here bright and early tomorrow morning, I promise I won’t let you down.
“I know you won’t son, I’ll see you tomorrow.” As hank walks away, he mutters something under his breath. If liktor had been listening he would have heard it as “fuckin dolt”. He didn’t though, so nothing came of it.
Liktor remembers the armor smiths of his old world. Such a profession does not exist here, so he goes to the equivalent, one of the many tinkers’ shops in town.

Tinkers are the main source of goods in this world. It is their job to take the many disparate things in this world, and put them together into usable and useful items. They often produce items on their own from the parts they buy from scavenging caravans, but for a slight bit more they will build custom orders. For a custom order, one needs only bring the parts they want used, and describe the function they want the item to maintain. The tinker will then do their best create the item, but the effects may be highly variable. You can also pay them to repair or improve existing items ((for example, a tinker could refit the glove Stuart has))

(2) Many of the shops are closed at this time of night. You manage to find one that is still open, but the goods are meager, and likely overpriced. On the display racks you see a set of hard-light armor, seemingly created from a reprogrammed light bridge. It flickers occasionally. Next to it is a fancy looking gun with lots of green glowey parts. The words “Property of X-Com” are printed on the silvery metal. Both of these items are wildly out of your price range. You ask a bored looking clerk at the counter if they have anything cheaper, and he points you towards a rack marked “Discount”. There is; a slightly rusted raiper for 50$, A wooden buckler half covered in melted copper 50$, a ring mail shirt made of wood 120$ and a small flamethrower made from duct tape, aerosol cans, and a pocket lighter 200$.
You have 150$ on you, but they may be willing to give you some credit for a trade in.

Nivian
"Le sigh," Nivian says to herself in French-influenced Anglo-Saxon English.
A machine shouldn't need food nor sleep, but the feeling of starvation is rather compelling. And she has no money.
She lowers herself to the roof level of the other buildings and hunts down one of her fellow portal-mates. Specifically, Antonio, given his location at a cheap restaurant where Nivian would undoubtedly be drawn to.
((even grey goo needs some material to make new parts from))
Nivian sighs. The mundane upkeep of physical form, it is an annoyance.
(4+1=5)
Finding her friends will be relatively easy as she marked them with nanite trackers earlier. She lowers herself to the rooftops and begins to use them to travel across town. The stunning leaps over the alley ways and hairsbreadth par core as she navigates remind her of Antonio, though she doesn’t know why. She ends up on the roof of the restaurant that Antonio is in. According to her trackers, Lucky is in there with him, and as she watches from the rooftop shadows Stuart enters the place below her. “We are all now back in one place” she thinks to herself. “So fitting”

((You guys got a max roll on the payment from Jessa's caravan. Everyone else can return there now and get paid if they haven't already. Except Nivian, because she got the rifle instead.))

[?] What is your name? This can include a nickname, or anything that you go by.
Mike "Rushmore" Vucik. The nickname was earned when some asshole broke his hand on my face after slamming it against a wall.
