Tusk points out the large mansions of the Bluesheen and Ashland Bloodlines,

We could swing these tensions to our advantage. If the state were to start buying metal from only one of these bloodlines, the other would become angry at the throne, and begin to dissent. When they become angry enough one of their younger and more rash members will eventually lash out against us in some form. That act of violence against the state would be all we need to declare the entire bloodline as traitors, and we would be justified in seizing their stock and industry, giving us all the metal resources we need. On top of that, the remaining bloodline would owe us. Seeing as they are the only other source of metal in the city, we could then effectively control the metals trade as well as access to metals and thereby armament for many groups. We would have another way to indirectly effect foreign affairs, and conflicts; either arming the side we support with the metal we control, or keeping such armament out of the hands of the side we hope to see fail. Before we do this though, we need to thoroughly know the dynamics of these two family. We would want to know who it would be the easiest to pull this shit on. (who would be the least likely to respond in a civil way) Not to mention all the details and planing we would need to undertake to ensure things like the feud being maintained by both sides even after we begin buying, and that they don't become too upset with us in the higher ranks of the line (until its too late) so as to actually spread dissent against us in the general populace... all the little details. That's a base outline of my plan anyways. More assets under our direct control is always a good thing.

I propose we place agents to begin gathering information about both bloodlines and begin learning about them in more legitimate ways as well. Make sure to invite their top tiers to any formal events, and then just make sure to talk with them when they are there.

I feel like we should wait for the hunters. Even if we don't need any heavily armored soldiers, showing up with a retinue outside of our own warband should help imply our authority. Especially if we have a reputation as a type of particularly cunning mobile cave fungus.

And, of course, we shouldn't forget to give Tormonulorg his gift.

While we are waiting for the hunters we should train our warriors to fight on the surface.

The difference between surface fighting and cave fighting is coordination. Fighting is fighting, but in an open environment like the surface you also have to know how to keep together and support each other. Trashing a bandit camp wouldn't give us anything new, we need to train in formations and learn how to signal each other on an open battlefield. As for the equipment aspect, see what Tormonulorg has lieing around. Anything is better than nothing.

Wait... what kind of hunters wear full Bloodsteal plate? Just what are they hunting?

Haunt.

We are summoned from our rest to protect a figure pigeon of great importance. Though they do not know it yet, they are instrumental in the great plan the gods have, and we must protect them at all costs from any dangers that might befall them.

Leave all this dungeon foolishness behind. It's dangerous you know.

Go settle down in a nice village, and start a farm. Maybe with cabbages. Cabbages are good this time of year.
Of course, old Ray was saying we wouldn't get as much rain this year, he was set on growing tomatoes because of it. That just means he would be willing to sell you seed for the cabbage, he wouldn't be using it. Ray still owed you for that pig last year, so maybe you could guilt him into letting you borrow his plow to start you farm. You would have to find some workers, but there seemed to be plenty of peasants without jobs here. You could hire a few on for food at now, and pay them after the harvest.
Cabbage might be a bit of a risk, Ray always had a knack for guessing the weather. Still, it's a lot safer than this whole dungeon business.

I vote multiple players!

Nation Sheet

Name: Argidad
Government Type: Fascism - subject to stretching
Traits:
Military culture (disciplined, efficient, hierarchical.)
Patriotic
Industrious
Weapons technology (Most of our research is initially designed with the military in mind. This easily adapts to non-military applications as well after the fact. All of our technology in general, but especially our military technology is a step up from the standard.)
Clandestine operations (the highest branch of the military is always feared and largely unknown. Rumors about them say they are anything from robotic to psychics to the remnants of the Spanish inquisition.)

Background: Formed out of the remaining military after the shatter of the main state, they seek to reclaim. They are defined mainly by the persisting military culture, and their ruthless efficiency. The funding that had gone in to military research has provided them with a technological edge. They remain completely united even after the shattering of the old state, and this unity shall propel them to victory and some day back to earth proper.
Color: maroon - green glow

Turn
Draft and train a standing force of infantry to defend the new nation.
Disseminate propaganda building on the natural sense of patriotism to develop a sense of "duty to the state"
Begin construction of the industrial sector or if I begin with an amount of industry, expand it.
Begin construction of the agricultural sector or if I begin with an amount of agriculture, expand it.

Research - automated industry

*Am i supposed to define what my traits do or do you get to decide that?
