So how extensive will you make the economy? Will it be simplistic, in that cities, land, etc produce a certain amount of gold that you can use and capture? Or will there be different kinds of resources that will be needed in order to produce weapons, good etc?

I agree, get the house. We need a dependable source of income... a bigger one, I mean.
Consider finding a cheap inexpensive and fairly fuel-efficient automobile.

Maybe a trip to a local auto dealer to look for something?

No, I meant that seriously for Bob Mason. I doubt his writing skills are bad. Depending on what classes he's taking for his college, its more likely he has half decent writing skills.

Consider writing a book about the menial repetitive chores of everyday life in an exciting way.

Dropping by to say this is one of the best roleplay threads on this site! I love the realism. The thread is also very informative. I just hope that this doesn't die before the character does anything meaningful and nefarious.

Is there still more slots for another player? Or are they all filled?

Edit: nevermind, just reread the starting paragraph that there is only 5 colors :(

I'll have to wait for the next game then.

The real question should be: how many people here play dwarf fortress?

DF Adventure Mode Discussion / Wearing Bling

Anyone else like to put on the earrings, bracelet etc for their adventurer? Whenever I kill someone, I make a habit of taking at least one piece of their jewelry and wearing it. Seems so cool to do so.

Also, since I'm greedy, I carry a bag of gems around all the time, even if it weighs me down. I wish I could create a camp myself and store all my valuables.

Does anyone know if you drop some items, say a chest of gems, in a location if it will disapear when I leave the area and go travelling?
