Possibly because you dont understand the backburner? :)   Its hard to do right, but on the times when you do, a backburner can wipe out half a team and still get the odd reflect.  Ive got 2000 hours at tf2, so I think im beyond noobsville, but I call the backburner viable and potentially heaps of fun.

IIRC the main advantage to bigger wheels is they are stronger.

A single pit trap on the waters edge on a singe map tile island will catch anything big that spawns on that island, its a good trick, but a bit op.  With decent speed stat you can also run down beavers in a punt wielding a paddle and 1H weapon to smash their heads in, easy way to get 15-20 meat and a high value pelt.

I start off with a random founder who then starts recruiting supermutants (AG 10+) for a combat squad while doing B+Es for dollars, Ill also try and pick up a few high CH/seduction hookers as recruiters.  Founder and the gang get into fistfights solo to up dodge, juice and punches to the face, seduction and maybe some persuasion training as well.  Random loveslaves become drugrunners till they suffer from bullet to the face unless I like them for some reason.
I make a serious plan to have differnt people recruit some different squads, hackers, low lvl sleepers for maps, tailors, specialists like psychologists, etc.  Quickly this goes to shit and I loose track of who is doing what or why but I end up with plenty of dudez.  I then deck out my first combat squad with rifles and armor and move them into a fortified safehouse, then I get serious about killing.  6 hackers are thrown into fort liberal and armed with shotguns, they do puter stuff.  I grab 4 or 5 sweatshop workers and once they get 50 or so juice they go to the fort, grab rifles and armor and spend the rest of their freedom fixing bloody clothes, of which there are now many.  Between/during murder sprees I piddle about with kidnapping and try to build an elite graffiti squad, when one of them dies I get shitty and they become a second murder squad.  I fuck about a bit more an do a little of lots.
Then I dont play for a month, come back and try and make sense of what the hell I was trying to do, I fail and restart.  GOTO TOP.

Bullet press and the bullet extractor can both be found in gunshops, hardware stores, as a drop from a zombie, pawn shops and I think houses and electronics stores.  They shouldnt be too hard to find if you are moving about and doing alot of killing.

IMO its better to have 12 guns stashed in the truck to fire off any type of ammo than it is to bugger about with reloading.

Also, suggest we add barrels, for storing massive amounts of booze.

If possible, would like to get vehicle storage for other liquids too.  Storing acid might be helpful, as well as the more obvious choices like whiskey or rum.  Being able to drink from an RV Kitchen and select what type of fluid to drink would be fun~

You can find aluminum kegs laying about, they have big liquid storage.  Nothing wrong with toting a jerrycan full of Long island iced tea as well.

What would be interesting is if the queen actually gave it all to them.  Willing to bet you would have a great shot of a half dozen tribal elders with some serious 'WTF do we do now?' looks.

This has happened before now a few times though, various tribal groups have laid claim to huge swaths of australia (including the city of melbourne and surrounds), generally the powers that be deal with it by ignoring them.

We do have more than our share of micronations though, being a holdover from the british empire leaves us open to it in some oddball way

Edit, wikipedia says they made claim to 81000 sq. km.  Dont think you are still a micronation at that stage.
And apparently the powers that be did deal with it by not dealing with it.

3 things I always do with a new version of cataclysm:  Turn off skill rust, Tell it to drop all my useless garbage on the ground and turn units from dark ages to metric system.

If your lifespan is measured in days or weeks, you arent going to forget much.

I have a badly swollen spider bite that hurt. What should I do about this?

Try a first aid kit, if that doesnt work, try antibiotics.  Thats if its infected.

You can make pens with fences though, your animals will stay in.

*snip*

But, because I had the Frontier Justice (gain 1 revenge crit when sentry is killed per kill the sentry did, EG 1 revenge crit if it killed 1 before blowing up), I then went on a rampage with my 12 free criticals, ripping a hole through most of the opposing team before being killed, allowing two Scouts to push through to the intel. ;D

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The justice gives you 2 crits per kill and 1 crit per assist

Master both it and the minisentry and you can be super annoying though.

The pack animal exploit has been taken out, if you want to steal, you have to kill to get stuff.
