Id say leave in the vitasaw, you have to use the crossbow for it to give the set bonus, and thats a big enough nerf from the needlegun.  Huntsman is generally considered ok for comp as well, as a pro gun sniper is always better, though the machinima is always banned in comp.  Fists of steel and tomislav for heavy get banned in comp, as do all the polycount hats that gave set bonuses (sniper that cant be headshotted, 10% faster pyro etc.)

Oh, and THE ENFORCER IS ALWAYS BANNED.

Really its all up to you but for my 2 cents add the enforcer and tomislav to the list for sure as they are both fairly unbalanced for comp play.

Mantreasd and Gunboats would make better sense merged, but it might be too late to do that now.

-50% self damage
-50% fall damage
-50% knockback (from enemies)
If you land on an enemy, they receive 2x your fall damage.

Thats a massively powerful weapon for a skilled player you have there.   Pretty much boots of flight for anyone who can rocket jump well

For comp play you can get proper server configs that arent to hard to use, you just have to book a server with them on, servers are available to book though whichever group is running comp tf2 in your area (for free), generally the config will also include an item whitelist that can be turned on/off.

Points are scored in 5 point maps by wins, generally played first to 5 for 6v6 and first to 3 for highlander, or to 30 mins, whichever comes first, other maps like payloads and gravel pit use a config that records when points are capped and how many, so if team 1 gets the cart past 3 points on badwater then team 2 gets it past the 4th cap point, team 2 wins without having to get it to the end of the map.
Maps like this are usually played ABBA, so first you attack, then defend, then defend, then attack again.

Thats how it works here in australia anyway.

Ohh, and unless you are running an absolute beast of a setup, you wont be able to host the server with 18 internationals playing, just book a proper one.  Just make sure it hasnt got a ping kicker.

Ill happily play if this gets off the ground.

It goes off damage done, and any damage done by the person you are healing counts for the medic as well.

Generally playing outside your country = horrendous lag issues.

That said you can record demos of games without having to resort to youtube, there is a thing ingame to do it with (not the thing that records your last life).

Comp tf2 is generally played in 2 ways: 6v6 limits being 1 medic, 1 demo, 1 heavy and 2 of anything else or highlander which is 9v9, 1 of each class.

If they just put a 'No EA affiliates on kickstarter'  clause in I wouldnt be totally unhappy.

You can get both alot of decent weps inc. sandvich for heavy and the gunslinger for engi from achieves.  Milestone 1 2 and 3 all grant weapons for every class, Ive also got doubleups of almost every wep, im happy to trade 1:1 for any extras you have, my steam name is jimboblordofeskimos.

Oh and you should get around 10 item drops per week, not inc crates.  Thats for roughly 10 or so hours of gameplay, the week clicks over on thursday, (in australia anyway).  If you dont play that much set yourself up for idleing (google tf2 idling),  you can just have the game running in the background while you do other things.

That ogre kickstarter is fairly amazing:
Steve Jackson:  'So you know, if you can spare it, id like 20 grand to make my game, if you wouldnt mind'
Gaming public: 'STAND STILL SO WE CAN JAM 1000's OF DOLLARS INTO EVERY ORIFICE OF YOUR BODY'

Normal flares also give you the ability to 2 shot most classes (looking at the medic mostly) from right across the map, means it can be an absolute murder machine.  It is also a more powerful weapon for punting people up in the air then hammering then with a secondary than the reserve shooter on a dps scale.

The new flare (manmelter) is really only good for 2 things, putting people out then getting a krit for it, though if the other team has alot of pyros you should probably be running the shottie, it also charges you meter for the phlog.

Pomson is the best gun in the game to get kritzed with.

Gahhh double ninja.

I mostly use the Jag for comp Highlander play where any advantage is a serious advantage, If you are serious about it the difference is noticeable, also great for 2 or more engis working together to get up an aggressive sentry over a point or something where 1/4 second can be a loong time.
As stated above, the shottie is a better dps weapon as well, I cant stand the southern hospitality as meeting a pyro up close always seems to equal dead when I have it, anything else and im reasonably confident of 2 shotting them with my shottie as they come at me.

I thought open fields and forests were safer than cities so I moved to a cave in the middle of nowhere. I was wrong. I managed to last until I killed around 150 zombies there. Whenever a necro shows up there were like 30 zombies chasing me.

Anybody knows a way to stop zombies from spawning? Cheating or not I don't really care. I just want enough time to build myself a safehouse.

If you mean stop them from respawning when a necro turns up you can butcher them or pour petrol on them and burn them.  I usually only do it around my base, I call this 'housekeeping'.   As for base building, yah, do it at night, they may be more active, but once you get a few deep pits up you can just kite zombies into them.

In other sadness, my career developer called and said that some guys maybe looking to hire have been calling me and I haven't been calling them back, my call records show nothing of this. Dammit, if it's not one thing, it's always another. All I want is a phone with good reception, good speakers so I can hear what they're saying, and won't drop me in the middle of a call for no reason. Every phone in my house only has one of those qualities, and it's maddening that my effort can be blunted by faulty technology so easily.

El cheapo prepaid mobile phone is solution maybe?  I paid 20 bucks for mine, it sux, but I can make and receive calls fine.
