I, sadly, have work obligations this weekend. No dorfyness for me.
Am playing dwarf fortress though! Much like one of the past forts, I have something of a werelizard issue.

Only if the doors are even unforbidden.
Not that I know exactly what the lever does, but I expect the problem can be solved by building walls around it and pretending it isn't there.

Technically if you are a US citizen and you do something in a foreign country that is illegal in the US (say, drinking at 17 years of age) you can be tried for and convicted of that crime when you return to the US, even if it was legal in the country you were in at the time.

This is not typically used against people who were drinking alcohol. It is generally reserved for things rather worse than that.

I do not know if this holds true of any other countries.


The staying up X hours thing turns out to be remarkably dangerous.

It's been known to happen. More than once.
Not as often as not managing to download/install the save properly due to Drunk, though.

Once you are drunk enough not to care whether you have a permission or not you are most likely in a proper condition for taking a turn.

First drunk, first served
This, so much this.

It's customary to make sure nobody else is actively taking a turn, but even that has been ignored in the past. Really the only downside is then somebodies turn doesn't go into the official history.
That said, we've killed... three? four? worlds so far, so the history gets wiped anyway.

Bottom line: If you're drunk, it's your turn.

No worries.
There's a ~70% chance the next drunk will notice and dorf you anyway. That percentage drops markedly if this thread hits a new page before the next turn though, only maybe a 25-35% chance then.
