Ok, give in the prisoner/s and do everything else you said, but I still disagree with selling the small craft and giving in the unopened boxes. How would they know that the boxes were dangerous and not to open them if the boxes were unlabeled? Open one at least.
And yes I know you said consider selling them, but I still disagree

1) why the hell would they carry dangerous materials on a pirate ship? The possibility is very minute, especially considering that we DOUBLE CRIT SUCCESSED THE LOOT ROLL.
2) we don't need a reputation with the police, we're already getting registered.
3) I'd say the truth, but leave out the captured pirate and possibly the crates ( if they turn out to be useful)
4) keep the pirate. The others can introduce him into our crew
5) yes to having our payment refined and kept until later
6) yes to seeing if there's a convoy / escort mission out of here
7) yes to this, but we should keep all the small craft. Our carrier capability is our greatest asset.
