Hm... Seems interesting; pushing changes would really break legends though.

Why?

You are not pushing deltas. Git realises that all the files in the folder change and pushes all the changes. (Which usually means it just zips the whole lot up and ships them)

Sure google drive is one way, but this has the potential to be far more automated.. Plus with the site I am building it will be a pretty rich experience.

Long term, I am going to have the plugin dump stats on the forts in progress so you can actually see maps, dwarves, stock levels, etc etc etc....
Eh, my knowledge of how Git pushes changes might be incorrect, so it *might* work.

This would be perhaps, the most interesting soap opera in existence. Not that I watch soap operas, but if the modding community for Bay12 had a show...

On-topic: DFFD organization would be really good.

Might edit this later and add more; the oddity I realized most recently is, buildings use labor tokens (ex: MINE), while everything else (reactions) uses skill tokens (ex: MINING).

Hugo and I use Google Drive; it works for just about everything. Create a folder, share it, download the desktop app, profit.  It's how I collaborate with him on some of his mods :P (and we have a succession game of Regen going).

to be fear Valikdu did basickly say "I abuse virtual horses" not provide any modding feats...

to pu this back on track i once made a mod that let you reverse engineer foreign weapons
Sure looks like Valikdu was just responding to the OP like everyone else, and you came and blindsided him for no reason :P

In response to both of these; it was rather just a misunderstanding.  See, I read it with two meanings:  Either he meant that crimes were inflicted by others towards equinity in a derogatory manner, or he - jokingly - was inflicting them himself ingame.  If you'd have read, I preceeded my micro-rant-ish-complaint with:
Crimes against equinity. A lot of them.
Crimes against equinity?  I do hope you're referring to inflicting them yourself, ingame; because if you mean they're being inflicted by others with a derogatory intent, I need to politely ask you
By reading this section of my quote, one should be able to comprehend that my micro-rant-ish-complaint-thing was only valid if and only if the latter reason mentioned in the quote was true.

In response to OP, as to avoid derailment, I've acquired the syndrome that forces me to stay up late and get up early-ish (~9AM), and mod/playtest all day. qq

So I infer that it's just a misunderstanding of your post? Good; glad we came to the conclusion. :p

Crimes against equinity?  I do hope you're referring to inflicting them yourself, ingame; because if you mean they're being inflicted by others with a derogatory intent, I need to politely ask you to give yourself the [MISCHIEVOUS] token, place a lever in an atom smasher, and lock yourself in it.  Nobody would say anything if you guys weren't everywhere, derailing everything with your ponies.  The MLP fandom is the only fandom who does this shit. I could care less what your interests are and what you watch, I wouldn't judge one solely by that; but when you get everywhere pretending to be some higher-power, just because you claim that you obtain enjoyment from something that would be considered, "abnormal," it's annoying.  It's like the Soviet Union, you're everywhere, there's too many of you, and nobody cares aside from yourselves.

Now please note, aside from the rough demeanor in my small rant, I hold nothing personal against you yourself, or any other individual member of the MLP fandom, I just think that the fandom itself is too egotistical and such.

My point wasn't to attack anyone -  least of all you, Hugo.  My point was simply that arbitrarily drawing a line between who deserves a sub-forum and who doesn't is going to create a rift, and I'd be making the same point even if you and I were included in the sub-forum group.  I'm simply trying to say that we're drawing a line that would be better off not drawn at all.
You have a point. I do feel that MW would need some kind of separation between mods like your own and itself, not because it has more players, but because there are so many treads for it. It's like trying to contain an ant colony in a ziplock bag, while still trying to display the contents of the bag. There's just so much of it (minor threads, 'cause all the newbs to modding go right to the, "biggest and most popular," mod), that it drowns everything else out.

However, I do agree with both your point, and your idea of organization, as well as a Graphics & Tilesets board.

Edit: Actually, I think the MW players need to learn to ask questions in the thread for the mod. It could just go in the 'Major Mods' section, with the other mods.

Don't forget that legends battles are 1v1 duels, even if it's two armies fighting.  So if the megabeast gets thousands of kills in legends mode, that's why.

They can't be related. If they are, they'll just become friends.
Oh god friendzoning even occurs in dwarves...

Funstuff. Really enjoy playing Regen; voted in the poll. Ye need more voters though! >.<

Does this void the modding questions thread? Because now it would make question threads more... acceptable? I mean that in, they don't 'spam' the board anymore, as I would think the general DF Modding board would be suited for questions, and releases in the releases section. Nevertheless, I like the change! :D
