Yet the fact that your adventurer misses so much depends on the creature its fighting and your adventurer's skills and attributes.
For example, someone with novice fighter and novice swordsman will have a hard time hitting an expert dodger.

Check what links are made. (e.g. give to stockpile, give to workshop) Normally, the closest one is chosen. If they don't something's wrong with the settings or something like that.

It has to do with shared barrels as well if I recall correctly.

Another question, the wiki was too hard for me to understand;

But how do you know the maximum equip load of a dwarf?
Such as; is it possible to wear chain + breastplate or socks + high boots etc.?

I found all that from the wiki, what I'm looking for now is some advice from those who have tried this industry: how many animals did you bring at embark, how many make an optimal flock to keep your industry busy, do you have separate shearers and spinners, is this a viable replacement for rope-reeds/pig-tails or only a supplement, do you use the surface or do the space requirements for grazing force you underground?

Im encountering this as well. When you first set up the hospital, set the amount of clothes in the zone settings really low so you can inhibit the dwarves natural need to act stupid.

If it displeases you greatly you could always... abandon.

The ramp is probably holding it up. Try to remove it.

The wiki clearly shows the difference between the animals. Alpacas are the best animals since they require the least grass to survive.

The amount of animals up for shearing should be the same as your demand. Trial and error methods are great for this.

Ok let's find out, if the sick dwarves already got diagnosed.

Zealord, check the dwarves with v -> highlight dwarf -> z -> h and then under 'Treatment' (or another of the 4 tabs, don't remember correctly) should either be a treatment plan (clean, surgery, surture, etc) or something along the lines of "diagnose required".

If "diagnose required", do what smakemupagus said. If there's a treatment plan, well, other than removing bed I'm out of ideas.

Haha, actually when I designated the bed to be removed, a medical dwarf instantly ran up and diagnosed the patient whose bed was being removed. I cancelled the remove order and it worked.

DF Gameplay Questions / Patients simply not being treated, 10 doctors.

Patients are in the hospital, given water etc. but are not diagnosed nor fixed.
I have assigned 10 doctors in my fort each with hauling labors disabled and sufficient skill.
A hospital zone has also been assigned and all materials are present.

What should I do to fix this?
