You all spent a lot of time checking out your shiny new gear, and when you finally look up you realise its nightfall.


Sleep to wait for the next day, new migrants, and more time to get the shiny crystals.
You tell the guys you're hitting the hay, and then stagger wearily over to a nearby corner. There isn't anything to lay on, so you remove only your helmet and sit down, leaning against the wall and slowly falling into a fitful doze.

Vincent checks the MRU for some sort of well to collect the water, then a filter.
((If the team had ever bothered to set up the resource processor I could've explained this to you.))

You're all exhausted. One by one you all eventually slump to the ground and fall asleep.

How am I still waiting on actions? Normally GMs are the ones to abandon a game.

Cover the infantry and keep those Elementals alive! Try to recalibrate your lasers on the fly. Make a move for the break that the men are creating and press the attack. Ignore the RPBs and concentrate about keeping the battle-mech moving. Switch your comms to the company channel.
I am making for the breach Commander. The enemy is prioritising their targets. I advise that you do the same.

((Shall I try to rally the IIC Binary and get them moving? They're being chewed up by aircraft and are bound to fall apart soon; most of the opposition in front of us is gone, and our platoon has reinforcements coming soon. The loss of an entire company would be a serious blow to the invasion, and I'd rather not lose our momentum. Do I have your blessing?))

Anyway, yeah, this is dead, mainly because I hated it so much, it was one big railroad to nowhere.

I'm going to make a sequel, and actually try to fix some things there. Soon..
It was fun to play and read, and I would relish the opportunity to try out a sequel.

Take cover along the wall a bit further from the others. Check out any entrances you can see. Sweep the snow from the ground and look at the street.

Fall back and move up the left flank with my platoon. Start raking the enemy infantry that lies in front of them with Pulse laser fire. Use Medium lasers to take care of anything heavier.
