No, I totally sympathise. I've had very similar outbursts; usually due to bottling up stress and worries. It sounds like that talk was just what set you over the edge.

Sometimes it helps to talk about it. Is there anything else bothering you besides politics? If it's personal, maybe just write it down on paper or in a word document. And after communicating it in some medium, maybe come back to it later and see if there's anything you can do to make the negatives either positive or at least not happen.

I don't think anyone here is arguing against documentation of code :P

Half of you are saying code should make sense and be legible in-line, that you should be able to understand, at least in part, what it does in-context. I would agree.

The other half are asking for out-of-code documentation that includes function definitions, possible function overloading, input and output, along with any possible quirks that may arise on edge cases. I would also agree.

Also, pretty sure humans can also get the "immunity to pain" thing. It's called congenital analgesia, and it's a very debilitating disorder. No pain = no immediate safety reflex = constant vigilance against anything that could harm your body. You can't be "hurt," but your body can still be harmed. You just don't have a warning system for it.

Yeah I actually read an article on that. I think the popsci was referencing this paper. It was pretty awesome that we've discovered the issue.

Whew. Yeah I was just noting how it looks like bird person.

Now I need to play a were-raptor so I can be bird person.

Uh oh did my joke not get joked properly? It was a joke oh no.

In bird culture, this is considered a dick move.

Uh... bump?

This is probably one of the slowest sections of the forums, haha. The game will happen... Eventually.

I should probably bring up that nothing seems to have come of it, I'm fine. I'm going to chalk it up to working 11 hours on my feet with practically nothing consumed but water.

Yeah not eating for a while can make it hard to start eating again because human bodies are wonderful like that :P

This thing seems too scared of us to consider attacking in any fashion...

Birds are pretty smart some times. They may have stopped recognizing you as a threat.

tbf, the guy did write Oreimo, and while kirino is shit tier waifu, at least the guy didn't pull a not-blood-siblings schtick on the elephant in the living room.

Kirino's a great Tsundere.

also onii-chan isn't a shithead in eromanga-sensei. Fucking Kyouske. It got toned down in the anime but he was a total creep.

Step 1: Look behind you.

I still maintain that back here it looks like there are stairs up.

Step 2: If results are boring, give the radio a single check-up just in case the voice has some actual, practical advice that can be delivered in 50 words or less.

Step 3: Blow this popsicle stand.

Those are the stairs we went down to get into the room.

Negative effective mass, not negative mass.

They engineered a dispersion relation in a Bose-Einstein condensate, producing a region of negative effective mass. That is, a region where particles interacted with other forces as if they had negative mass.

They did not actually produce particles with negative mass.

:P

I mean, I did read the paper. But the effects are pretty awesome and I can't wait to see what sort of practical applications we can pull out of it later on down the line.
