Yep. It pretty much died. All that we're waiting for is for the mod to be done for us to start a new succession fort.

I have differentiate the endings into two versions. NAV's version is V1 and Highmax's is V2. This way there will be no problems with the story compabilities.

As for the story NAV, interesting turn of events. Expecting the fall of Necrothreat soon.

It's all nice and stuff that we get stuff in the mod but I am afraid about testing. I think you should release periodic releases of the versions, Mastahcheese. That way people can download the mod AND test it at the same time. Then whenver they find a bug or something ain't happening right, they'll report it.

Maybe we need a whole mod topic, lol.

I believe there is a rule against thread necromancy. And since your old succession fort is from this year, Highmax28, I doubt it would make much of a difference. I think it would be best if I was to create a new topic and have the full privileges of it.

I don't feel great about a "new" topic.  It isn't necromancy if the first post isn't years old....  does someone want to go digging?

I do agree to this to a certain extent but I feel that if a new topic was made, it would give us a larger array of freedom. I do not think that reviving years old threads is a good idea too. If the majority does say that they want an years old post, then I will do it in one form or another. But as for now, I think that a new topic would be the best course of action. We have plenty of things to make up for the Necromancy.

Agreed. For that we will need the mod AND a new topic (which I will create) though. I myself want a turn too but I will restrain myself right after you guys. Talvieno's frozen turn will remain in effect as well.

I need a report from Mastahcheese too on how the mod has been coming along.

I removed you turn Sprin because the fortress is doomed. BFEL is missing and since NAV is next in turn, I've given it to him to lead the fortress into it's last days which I fear will be soon.

In short, I can give you back your turn but you won't have anything to lead since the fort would most probably be dead by then.

That was amazing highmax28. I've added it to the main post (page 2). That was a very well written story. I especially liked the ending. This is a valid ending to the first Chapter of Necrothreat in my eyes. Well done.
Also, I fixed any typos there might've been.

As for NAV, you might do whatever you wish until the end of the fortress. You might just lead a personal journal of your last days until this event that was written by highmax28, or you can just write something else to fill in everything.

Honestly, that was brilliant Highmax.

All that we need now is for the mod to be developed and start the game anew. I have a feeling that this time we will be successful.

I fear that that cannot be modded in without a new world generation. I searched for ways to rid us of this head but I've found that the only way is to somehow modify the ingame values via some hex editor. I do not have sufficient knowledge if that will even work, and if it even DOES work, the whole thing will become unstable as far as I know. As such I think the best action is either to develop the mod and after it's done to gen a new world and start a new embark or reclaim this one with the current mod. Alternatively, if we do not want to wait, we can immediately start a new embark with the current latest version of the mod.

You vote. I personally have no special preferences.

I personally am lurking in the shadows until this Weekend when I will try to overcome that obnoxious head. It would seem that BFEL can't since he's obviously busy.

So yeah, we have no given up. Just prowling and lurking in the darkness waiting for the perfect moment to strike (or in other words, conquer that damnable head).

Eh sure, why not. More overpowered creatures to lead to our ultimate demise and in the end it's gonna be a head again that destroys us. Anyway, how's everything going BFEL? Any progress, ETA on anything or?

Destroyed? Don't be silly. All we're waiting for is the revival of BFEL To see if he can figure out something. Alternatively, if that doesn't work, I'll try to fix the damn thing myself and if THAT doesn't work, we'll vote whether to revert to a previous save, reclaim or just get as much as the latest version as we can of the mod and make a new embark.
