« on: April 01, 2018, 08:00:41 am »Hang on, was he one of ours, or was he from the old Luathbasian dynasty, before we came around?
One of ours, and actually the last king of Luathbas (he was succeeded by Elana of Tven, followed briefly by her daughter Aife before we fell into complete bankruptcy after having our shit pushed in by Damdamians).
EDIT: Aha, a post!
B seems like the best answer. Let's not confuse him with Imperial trivia even if we founded the damn thing.

Forum Games and Roleplaying / Re: SPAMKINGDOM LORE Q&A!
« on: April 01, 2018, 07:53:34 am »Curious. I wonder how we're meeting him now then.
He didn't get a proper burial because, once again, eaten by a Hydra. So I assume we're speaking with his restless spirit.

« on: April 01, 2018, 07:48:46 am »Should we recognize the name of the king in the story now?
King Feodh the Savior, from the original SPAMKINGDOM! Quite religious, overthrew his gay brother with the help of Pantheonists to seize the throne. Forgot what exactly happened to him, however.
EDIT: eaten by a Hydra! Delightful. His reign begins here.

D!
Mind you, he probably doesn't know what Methiant is, but it's still reasonably truthful without insulting him.

Listen, with certain kinds of genetics you just gotta know when to fold 'em.

Campaign, Ike!
"The town doesn't look too rough, luckily for our purposes. First of all, for the purposes of reviving Alan we need to secure the well and, if all goes well, take their Dark mage alive and get them to participate in a science experiment. I know we have access to paralytic venom for the taking-alive bit, but does anyone have any abilities relevant to mind control?" says Ike, looking in particular at the alchemist.
"Second of all, there's the Spine and their main warship from the looks of it. That's probably vital for neutralizing their military and magical capabilities, and optimally we'd want that Stormcloud Eater to be able to get to Nether Pass as quickly as possible. We might be able to blow up the Spine somehow, maybe Irine can channel shittons of fire into it somehow, but that's probably not the optimal way to go about this."
"Thirdly, the airstrip and gliders - if we grab hold of that before they can get to it, we can deprive them of most of their air capability. It's also possible that we could blow up the whole dang lot, but without further information it's hard to say."
"So that's about the short of it - the garrison's pretty small and we probably outclass their magicky bullcrap between us, but they've got heavy weapons on their airships, so a direct assault probably isn't the wisest option. We'd like to go about this smartly, so where do you guys see yourselves fitting into all this?"
Brief the team and request input!

Well, as you get older you tend to mellow out about a lot of things you used to find all-important. Gut stabbing is a young folks' game, after all.

Your Boy Lightness to the domed chamber came, and pondered the way forward. A door caught his eye.
"... what even is that?"
Take the door labeled SLEESTAK.

Vattu's got two fresh updates!
Makes me wonder if I should make a separate thread for it, considering the response it got the first time around.

Forum Games and Roleplaying / Re: SPAMKINGDOM LORE Q&A!
« on: March 30, 2018, 12:12:28 pm »Orcs are native to Orcworld and has been inhabiting Ironbone Mountains for several hundred years, raiding nearby lands every so often too. But no, they haven't ventured past Eldrican and Parsia, relatively speaking. No famous orcs existed, except some occassional orcish warchiefs that survived long enough for someone to record their names (I think there was one in Luathbas time?)
Yeah, what I was wondering about was whether there was just one portal to Orcworld or several scattered in the world (perhaps sporadically opening and closing in magical hotspots), but this points to just one stable gateway that may or may not have a magical origin.

Are orcs purely a feature of the Ironbone Mountains (as in, does it seem like they've radiated out from that area) or are they found elsewhere in the world as well? For instance, are the Calvendocians and Damdamians familiar with them in the same way? Are there any famous orcs?
