For Bilging, never spend two moves to make a 1x4, and never spend three moves to make less than a Bingo.  Never spend four moves on anything ever.  1x3s are not too bad.

For rigging--when you say 'no combos under 10', does that include 3-piece clears?  I've heard some people say that losing rope coils due to lack of clears doesn't actually hurt your score, but I have my doubts...
In rigging I personally just ignore coils all together, if you're getting big enough combos you'll be getting the rainbow piece all in one go. Also you may wish to bend those rules slightly at the start just to get going and earn yourself a light blue sail.

Aaaaw my swashbucklers jacket finally turned into rags :(, guess it's time for my backup outfit, lime pants and lime shirt with lime sash

Dam you tolerance! Although that is quite a good point.

For rigging follow the following tips and you can get excellent/incredibles about 90% of the time, the other 10% will be fines and goods if you start a league with a bad board.

1. Never ever aim to make a combo under 10 pieces in length unless:
  a) It uses up every piece of a colour
  b) You are just trying to move the current gaff around to where it will trigger a prepared massive chain.
2. Try not to set of a combo before it has every piece of its colour in it, don't worry if you are taking 2 moves to get each of last couple of pieces included or deliberately making a move solely to prevent the chain being triggered.
3. Try to include a loop or connect two gaffs in every chain that you make.

Anyone got some good tips for Bilging? I've gone on the wiki and read their article and some of the external links but I still just get fines all the time.

The deletion request for the forum is a bit like saying: Hey, theres a bad neighbour hood where we can obviously solve all the problems by getting rid of EVERYONE.

The main reason i acctually say on the B12 forums is because of the other games/Finally... section. Its just way to long between releases to acctually make me bothered to take an interest in what other people have to say about DF. Its a shame I know, but its what its like.
I second this, I'm an inhabitant of Other Games mainly and I don't often come in here and read threads unless I'm bored but it doesn't seem that bad. I think the Japanese ban list thread was always going to get locked, it was pretty inevitable really considering the subject matter combined with the tendency for threads to derail here.
Anyhow we have a nice enough community here and just wiping it off would be a waste.

Also we shouldn't talk about fetishes, that could help :p
I blame The Original Erotic Debate

I have a bungalow at dragons nest, for 5k I'll set one of you guys as my roommate and you can take one of the rooms I'll have the other. Currently my house is set as hearties and crew members can enter without knocking but since it doesn't have much in it theres not much reason to go in really.

Soldier really needs some kind of mustard gas launcher, no explosion would leave him without his rocket jump but any enemies entering the area for a second or so take horrible damage.

Oh... where do I get your invite? I don't see anything in the Ahoy! window...

Edit: I did find your testing message... you sent those right at the time I joined a poker table, so it got buried. I checked the message log and found it, but still no invite... ???

Edit: I won 150 PoE and left the table... because there are some crazy guys (or bluffers) in there. First round already raised 20, and in the end he lost with Club 2 and Spade 7 in his hands. He continued raising and calling until he lost. His hand had nothing at all. There're four more players betting like that.

Bluffing is one thing, betting like that all the time is another...
It doesn't seem that uncommon for people to just go all in without even seeing any cards, I'm begining to wonder if it isn't a good way to earn exp or something by just repeatedly betting big because I've seen plenty of people just repeatedly going all in and then rebuying and just repeating u8ntill they presumably run out of money and leave.

Maslow's scale
Has what do do with this discussion, 5 minutes on wikipedia tell me apparently he did a study which showed the order in which human beings fulfil their needs/desires and it seems to have nothing to do with your argument.

Hmmm just had a good log in session, after getting my incredible sailing with the navy I went pillaging and we got attacked by a ship full of monkeys earning us "The Brotherhood of the Bronze Pineapple" trophy, we then plundered another ship and earned the location of a sunken wreck, directly beneath us =p.

The irony comes from the last sentence and the inherent irony of of the immature act of resorting to insulting people over the internet and the fact that he chose to question our maturity.

Just got my second incredible, it was at sailing and I honestly don't know how I got it. I had 1 puzzle where I did ok but nothing special a second where I managed to chain a triple and then another that I totally booched but about halfway through the booched one I got a progress report saying incredible.

My first incredible was at treasure haul but that is easy.

Yeah, go for the three month thing.

P.s: Y, can you do something about the server not being connected to Steam? I really, really like my unlocks.
My regular server suffers from it sometimes apparently it's steams fault not the servers.
