I fast travelled, stopped by a mead hall, and got a message that a section of cavern has collapsed...I'm...not sure what happened.

Would have to be a dwarf, and also the contents of your fortress is likely scattered all over the map.

I have been, for hours now, been trying to think of a way to aquire pants. Despite conquering 8 different governments, and aquiring all manner of jewelery, the one thing that Flidifiplorsnus Rirnecar Slinamcudal has been unable to obtain, was a suitable pair of pants.

Was that a no to becoming a different rank? Or was that a "No, while you may go out and conquer the world, your lands shall remain divided despite this." or both?

While on the subject, has anyone managed to site claim and get a title aside from Lord/Lady?


also: i am currently the lady of 6 different towns. is there any way to unify my rule? (apparently these count as six different governments)

How does the smell trigger thing work? Because I couldn't find dragons in the depths of fortresses even with vampiric see through walls blood vision.



Side note: is there any way to sneak up on a titan?

Just keep searching. Unfortunately, there're no special ways to find them that I know of. If you're strong enough, make sure you don't sneak, that should make it attack you, so it's harder to miss.

If you're talking about bogeymen, then either enter a building and sleep there or get a companion.
I advise doing both, unless you're the type that doesn't need sleep. Still easier to move during the day though.

Actually, regarding finding the dragon: If you're an elf you should be able to find it by smell now (key is 'o'.)

To smell something, the sniffer needs to have a larger smell-trigger than the snifee's odor, elves have smell-trigger of 10, dragons have the default smell, which is 50. Dwarves and humans have both a smell-trigger of 90, so an elf could track down a dragon with smell-o-vision.

With my newest adventurer, I spent countless in game days training, honing my skills in necromancer towers, being a vampire, i could heal nearly all injuries with just a little bit of rest, which also respawned the zombies unless i killed them all, notably.


in preparation for a hydra, who was apparently off the coast. but i went a damn long way across the land to get there, i wasnt gonna be stopped by like 3 world map water tiles, and so i swam to the island where it resided. it was not in its lair or underground, (whichever it was supposed to be in, there were entrances for both such locations) instead it was on the surface. after heading down all the way to the underground, i realized it wasnt there, headed back up, and it was right next to the entrance just to taunt me, and as soon as i saw it. it BOLTED. ran into the distance, trying to get as far away from me as possible. and it was FAST. i was a vampire with max agility, and i had to go into full blown sprint to outrun it. and, it didnt even fight back as i slowly hacked its necks off till it bled out. it only kept running. i have to say, i am disappointed. i mean that was an INTERESTING challenge. but i didnt come to this island to race megabeasts. i came here to engage in epic combat with them.

and finally died, crossing the ocean on the other side, as i stood upon a glacier, it suddenly melted, and then immediately refroze, encasing me in ice. what the hell game?
