I suppose another dwarf's due...  but not as myself.  (Got Trog'd after all.)
If male miner:  Roger
If Female miner:  Rosalyn
If Male farmer:  Robert
If Female farmer:  Reba
(I feel like I went overboard, not unlike my love for crundle.)

"A shield...  of course...  Let's see now...  Who was our leader again?"  Moe thought to himself, that he was no leader, and was only a red shirt in the world.  He had his hand on the rifle, just in case things went south fast.
Hold his ground, ready to fire if the aliens in sight pull a fast one

"I'm a bit more at ease with this sort of mission than with the old mishap...  but at the same time, I also don't particularly like hostage situations.  As far as I'm seeing it, I'm probably going to wind up taking one for the team anyway, so let's see what we got."

Be the point man to try and quickly get to the Kitchen on Floor 1.

(Not a clue how many rooms one could traverse, so if the ol' time units run short, so be it.)

Moe'll pack an assault rifle (-4), and a clip to go with it (-1).  As for technology, let's opt for a medical kit...  we might need medical use to keep the people from being red shirts.

Name:  Moe Johnson
Stats:  [STR 0] [DEX 3] [END 0] [INT 1] [WIL 1]
Skills:  [RIFLE 1] [SIDEARM 1] [CLOSE QUARTERS 0] [HEAVY WEAPON SKILL 0] [SNIPER 0] [AUXILARY 1]
Bio:  (Hit with a writer's block here, but here goes nothing.)  Stuck running from various thugs within his hometown, Moe's constant retreat had made him a fair runner to avoid being held at point blank.  Although he hadn't been successful at getting a job, once he knew of X-Com and their purpose, Moe knew that he'd rather deal with extraterrestrials while well-equipped, as opposed to fleeing thugs unarmed.  He seemed to be the equivalent to old X-com cannon fodder, but every individual counted, so Moe was enlisted.

(Just let me know if I must readjust something...  but I think I've fulfilled the stats and skills requirements.)

Granted, but you seem to land upon all sorts of sharp stuff, ranging from glass, to nails, to upright adamantine spikes!  Yowch!

I wish I had an army of crundles tamed to my satisfaction!

Granted, but you were given the respect of a traitor, getting a death trap for compensation.  Ouch.

I wish I was actually a female!

The siege wants to prevent the dwarven olympics from happening!  Run, little mayor, run!

In all seriousness, I'd call that a lucky break for ya, especially if the fortress could be entered.

Granted, but we all know there's probably some unbreached cavern isolated from your deadly dustiness.

I wished I had a pet crundle!  (Oh god, not again with the crundles...)

Granted, but you are the pilot of the infamous coffin bomb, a kerbal space program rocket DOOMED to explode in a fiery mess!

I wish I was a kobold!

Granted, but unfortunately, he knew so much of it, he made it a reality, sentencing the non-believers to death!

I wish I had some adamantine armor in real life, and I mean a breastplate, a helm, a set of greaves, high boots, and gauntlets, and let's not forget shield.

I think I can understand your restart of the fortress due to those accursed aquifers...  Even I think they're more evil than a necromancer siege, teamed up with a goblin siege, elven siege, and human siege, fit with a bronze colossus, roc, dragon, hydra, and hidden fun stuff coming at the fort at once, along with a crundle surviving a 10-disk trap!

Granted, but you are viewed as heroes with bad publicity!  Ouch...  that villain sure has the public on his or her side, eh?

I wish for an elf for a girlfriend!  *mauled by a steel warhammer*

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Re: How to deal with extra armour racks?
« on: September 20, 2012, 06:44:46 pm »
Thanks :D :D. Im glad I caught it before I used up all my obsidian. Now I'll have to mine out more anyway, but not as much as I otherwise would have. Any ideas what I should do with the mined out space once im done with it? It's a bit too far away for it to be part of my Main fort, but I really think I should do something with it.
Perhaps make it your junk stockpile?
