The rules are simple.

Five players, you each post four pictures of whatever you want which will determine what character you play.

Then each turn you will post a picture as your action.

Other then that, standard rules (minimalist).

Roll To Dodge / What Games am I even in?
« on: April 05, 2014, 07:55:08 am »
I keep losing track of what games I'm supposed to be posting actions in. I know I'm in Roll to go Mad and Kingspawn, but those are really the only two I can keep track of.

Could the GM's of any still active games I'm in post here? Please include a link to the OP as well, if you would

Also you guys can totally use this to help find what games you are in too, if you have the same problem.

This is a story about the struggle of the human race in a world populated by undead, lovecraftian horrors, maneating giants and other monsters.

Normally, a Dominions LP is a multiplayer affair, but for this I will be playing it single player (because PBEM games are slow as balls).
I WILL however, be taking both advice and roleplaying from the community.

The Rules:
1. Anyone can join the roleplay, and will be recruited as a general, mage or priest in the game. This works similar to being dorfed in a game of DF.

2. I'm planning to play quite a few turns between updates, probably standardized as a in-game year (possibly more if I get really bored).
This will be when a meeting is called between the god-rulers and their subjects (i.e. your time to give me advice, especially about what your character should be doing. Veteran opinions would be appreciated!)

3. I will only be playing as human races, which will be allied. I started with all non-cpu's to customize the other nations pretenders, but after the first turn they will be put under computer control. Similarly, you can only RP with a unit from one of the four played races.

4. All the human races will have human pretenders, no manticores or things like that. Ulm has a Vampire Queen, but she WAS human so it still counts :P

Spoiler: The Game Settings (click to show/hide)

Ermor: Once a Great Human Empire, the mages of Ermor unleashed death upon the world, and now the legions rise again as undead. Easily the biggest threat to humanity in the world.

They are commanded by Jinnud, The Prince of Death

R'lyeh: A underwater nation of alien beings, the Starspawn of R'lyeh have used their mental supremacy to conquer and control all other denizens of the sea, now they seek to cast the world into the Void their sleeping god dreams of.
Pretender to be revealed when it awakens :P

Gath: A nation of giants descended from fallen angels, the Gath and their ancestors have spent their days living in decadence on the labor of human slaves, going so far as to eat them as a delicacy.

The Gath are led by the last remaining Nephilim (and recreational nudist) Beal

Abysia: A race descended from magical molten rock, the Abysians have since diluted their magmatic ancestry by cross-breeding with humans. They use the blood of mankind to fuel their magic arts.

The Abysians have shown their corruption in their worship of Oriax the Moloch

Fear not, sons and daughters of humanity, for their yet remain nations that fight these evils!

Ulm: A nation in decline, Ulm was the progenitor of the secrets of Blacksteel, a incredibly resilient material. In the past age, this gave them considerable military advantage, however their priests, in a fervor to oppose magic in the realm, have lost the recipe.

Marignon: Experts in hunting out witchcraft and spreading their faith, Marignon uses Heavily armed and armored units. They have developed fine shipbuilding skills and can sail across any body of water with ease. The mages of Marignon use Blood Magic to appease Infernal threats.

Bogarus: A nation formed of many warring Princedoms, Bogarus has united to bring justice to those who threaten humanity. Using light infantry and well equipped horse-archers alongside a multitude of powerful wizards, they form a vanguard against evil.

Men of Chelms: Formed when humans conquered the wilds of the Sidhe, the Men of Chelms have a long history of crushing those who threaten mankind. They utilize powerful Wardens trained with both greatsword and crossbow, and utilize many powers of the wild groves of Avalon.

Leading these forces are the God-Kings. Four mighty wizards with the powers of a God each, they have assumed command of each land and lead them ever forward against the hordes of evil.

From Ulm comes Leda, a powerful sorceress who has sealed her powers in blood, rising again as a vampiress dedicated to the destruction of all other hunters.

The Forests of Man send Parchopon, the Arch Druid, master of the natural world

The Arch Mage Leric hails from Marignon, and will cleanse evil in fire

Bogarus claims Denethia, the Great Enchantress who will shine the way for mankind to prosper

These four, and the nations they represent, have allied to destroy the plagues. Now is your time to join them!

Obviously this isn't normal. It only seems to have occurred during a short timeframe and they have since returned to normal.
I had slipped on some ice and hit my head a bit earlier that morning. Do I have a concussion? I had kinda feared that might happen, so mom was checking me while I was sleeping, and she is the one who noticed my eyes all demon-ed up.

So, anyone have an idea what this is? And how worried/hospitalized should I be right now?

Note: I hadn't displayed any other conditions that would point to a concussion or something similar until that point. No disorientation or anything, so we assumed I was fine.
Then I got Omen Eyes and now I'm kinda worried.

Also, if I had known that my eyes did that at the time, I totally would have attempted Latin chanting, just to flip mom out.
I'm kinda a terrible person.

Roll To Dodge / World of Darkness RtD
« on: February 02, 2014, 02:28:24 pm »
In this world, there are creatures. Beasts and Devils, Monsters and Horrors, Ghosts and Goblins, all preying on the unwary masses.
In this world they have clashed and survived for centuries, eons or longer. They eat, drink and torment mortals of all stripes.
But they have their weaknesses, the realms of mankind have used these against them for as long as good men have fought the darkness of our world.

Now, however, there is a new foe. One who does not have the weaknesses of these traditional monsters, one that preys not just upon man, but on these beasts as well.
An Enemy, that all our efforts have been unable to combat, all the resources arrayed in both the earthly and unearthly planes have faltered against it!

Play With Your Buddies / Stupidly Survivalist Skyrim- Surviving No More
« on: January 20, 2014, 01:55:10 pm »
So I had downloaded Skyrim Unbound due to a mod that borked the traditional start, and then I downloaded Frostfall, the mod which adds exposure, hypothermia all that jazz. So I thought, what would happen if I started in The Chill with Frostfall active?

The Chill, for those who don't know, is a prison, and I say that with no end of generosity. What The Chill really is, is a set of cells inside a glacier in the middle of The Sea of Ghosts- the coldest water in all Skyrim.

And today, you will see what happens when a person trys to escape from it.

FULL MOD LIST:

But before we start, I want input on a few things.
Firstly RACE!
What race should my character be? Take note that Frostfall's mechanics treat Frost Resist as a bonus to not freezing to death. So picking a Nord would just be too easy :P
Secondly GENDER!
I'll be honest, normally I don't play women, because I am a man and that's what I'm comfortable with but if you so choose then I will do so FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT. Note: I'm not using nudey mods you sicko! :P

Other issues:
Skyrim Unbound allows you to set certain options for starting. Namely whether you have the traditional Healing and Flames spells on start, and whether dragons start randomly active.
So yay or nay that as you will.

Other settings I'll be doing myself because theres just too damn many to name. Notably I'll be using a VERY hardcore Frostfall and Realistic Needs, so dying of exposure or dehydration will be issues, and the former will probably happen quite a bit :P
Also, fast travel? Dis-freaking-abled. So none of that.

DF General Discussion / Tracking Down The Boatmurderers
« on: December 20, 2013, 04:34:56 pm »
Just wondering if anyone on Bay12 has ever tried to contact any of the players of The Most Legendary Fort. I don't know if anyone of them actually frequents Bay12, and it would be awesome if they did.

So basically I'm asking for any info on how to contact these wonderful crazy progenitors of dwarfdom.

You and your four friends from Austin St. John High are walking down the beach one day when you stumble upon a cave. Deciding to be adventurous, the leader of your little clique runs off into the cave, and the rest of you follow, not wanting them to get hurt or lost.

What you find inside will forever alter your destiny and mark you as defenders of your town and eventually your entire planet.

So yeah, I would like to set up a game of this...well, great game but I am lacking both people to play it with and the knowledge of how the crap to play with other people.

So anyone up to show me the multiplayer ropes and then maybe we can get a nice screwed up history going?

Note: I heard about CKs "everyone uses the hosts DLCs" policy and that sounds awesome, I personally have The Old Gods and Ruler Designer, so just figured I would throw that out there as possible incentive.

43
So just saw this on the Steam store and thought I would share.
Apparently we have 4 days till this hits us. Discuss in meantime.

Just curious, seeing as number 10 is easily my favorite strategy game ever.

Roll To Dodge / Rosedale- The Mystery is YOU
« on: September 22, 2013, 09:23:47 am »

                                                                                   It's Still a Mystery

Character sheet should look something like this:

Appearance: Self explanatory, please keep it human though.
Skillset: A generalized outlook on the type of character you are most comfortable playing.
No names for you!
