How about this?
Give influx to Al, try having him second shift it.
Take influx back, switch to Al, take influx, try to second shift it.
If the first fails and second succeeds, we are the Influx.
+1 to plan that could work.
Bringing this Horolage plan back in
Fight Horolage in a duel w/Ciro and Al
Give Hardhat to Ciro
Heal
OverSP
Get BloodBand
Second Shift Astral Influx
(7 guaranteed damage, and ability of unknown strength)

And because he's a Demon, his element SHOULD be Unholy, hopefully. Because Double Damage from Swordshifted Influx, and we should be able to use Tactical Combat to avoid Failing our rolls
Set damage, guaranteed hits, and discovery of Combinatorial

Ciro isn't the Main Character. Target is. Ciro is merely a shell, a once blank slate.

The main character is whoever is selected by the Astral Influx, as they are being "possessed" by Target.

Ciro: use levitation to carry your allies across the broken bridge outside the Greens' door
-1 to DL4, and Underside things

Relevant snark in place of update.
CONTORTING OF FACE IN SADNESS BY LACK OF UPDATE

So, uhh... when does An Iochdar Daon (The Kilted One) come in?

Who?  I did a search of that and your post is the only one mentioning this name.  You sure you spelled the name right?
Name: An Iochdar Aon, which can be (roughly) translated to The Kilted One.
Preferred Role: Younger God
Sphere: Strength
Appearance: The Kilted One looks generally like a tall bearded giant, wearing nought but his kilt. He is about 18 feet tall.
Description: The Kilted One was thought into existence by the Highland men of [insert continent here]. Before him, they had no god, so they made one like themselves, wearing a kilt rather than the trousers that other men wear. He rules over them, directing their chieftains and their excursions into the plain. He is a warrior god. He is strength.
He put a "D" where it didn't belong.

Yes, that's one place. I'm pretty sure it was said before that, though.
Wait, where did the top two chat boxes come from?  I can't remember ever seeing them before.

There is no password coded into the game though, and was just a ruse presented by FFS.
The Angel-In-Training is Newford.

Odd, Betweenford refers to Oric and the King, rather than referring to Oric as the King. This could be him referring to Oric by his name rather than title, or it could be definitive proof that Oric is not the King. Perhaps the common theory- that Oric is King and Last Seraphim is the Lord- is in fact reversed.
Moar evidence pls?

But Horologe is a mercenary, and therefore an illborn, rather than a Willborn. Well, unless the Chief is even more powerful than we thought, because seriously, imagine subduing, locking, and selling Rillborn and having it actually be obedient to the person it's sold to.
Anyways, since Horologe is illborn, he doesn't have a soul, and we can't do a spirit battle with him. So, I think S0 might be something else, and the missing S4 is a spirit battle.
He has half a soul. Namely, his essence. And they are mercenaries, so Chief probably has contracts which bind them to a lifetime of indentured servitude, raking in the profits while the mercs go out to die.

595
Also, I just noticed the poll. I'm not entirely sure what the Sx means, nor what a ? battle or split battle is. The fight with Horologe wouldn't seem like a good time to experiment, though. As such, my vote falls on tactical battle.
S for Sequence?(or Strife)
As in S0 could be spirit battle, being the most likely basic form of combat itself, using your basic/literal essence against another creatures literal essence to see who is stronger.
S1 is Normal COmbat
S2 is Dance Battle
S3 Split Battle sounds like it could be tag team.

I'm pretty sure Betweenford said it at some point.

Al brings the device closer. It seems to be a transmitter or sound device.

"TRAINING'S OVER
BYE BYE OLD FORD
DOWN WITH THE KING
LONG LIVE THE LORD"

Edit:Ninja'd

Do we even know that there is an Oldford?  It could just have been Newford referring to Betweenford, as he would be 'Old Ford' to him.
Old Betweenford mentioned an "Old Ford" who he said bye-bye to. I'll get the whole quote...
"TRAINING'S OVER
BYE BYE OLD FORD
DOWN WITH THE KING
LONG LIVE THE LORD"
We don't know who sent the message. It could literally just be any random rebellious cherub who has been watching Newford's progress throughout his training

+1, no evidence for an OldFord, and even if there was Oric would have had to kill him to obtain the position of King; which could make him one of the Seraphim if anything.

599
All NewFord needs is a Fedora, and his training shall thus be complete.

Ciro, go back up there wearing the red star shaped sunglasses you pulled out for that one gag that one time.
+1
If that doesn't work, we'll have to find Cool Crab.
