"I have to agree with Stacy on this one, it's like they threw darts at a blank map to decide what each room's function would be."

Jim nodded to Miyamoto. "That's a good idea. I'll join you, watch your back while we're in there." He followed the other man into the cafeteria and stood watch near the doors.

"Thanks. I just hope they used all their explosives on that front door. Just to be safe, we could melt or shoot the main doors from now on before we open them. Or I just grab a shield and tank right through them. Whatever's more convenient."

8042
"I'd say we check this place thouroughly. Gonna do the cafeteria first."

Go inside the cafeteria, look around with normal and heat vision.

"Yeah, that last mission was... Brutal. I won't go into the details, but the term I would personally use to describe it would be 'bowel-clenching horror'."

An image came rushing back to Miyamoto as he said that. The image of that hunterbot, coming for him even though half his spine was melting, coming to kill him no matter what would happen to it... Uncaring, without remorse, murder the only thing it was created for.

"This reminds m, I still have one of those Timmy Tears lying in my locker. Not sure what I'll so with it, though throwing it out of an airlock would probably be the smartest thing to do."

On a private channel to Feyri: 'thanks for defusing that one. I almost feel like a goddamn kindergarden teacher at times.

"So what's the order for when we encounter lifeforms? Shoot on sight?"
'How about, trying to reason with them first? In fact, our rules of engagement are not to shoot untill absolutely neccesary.'

"Good, because I'm not in a team-killing mood.
'So wait, you're saying that you sometimes are in a team-killing mood? Yikes, remind me not to anger you when you are.'

8045
'Well, that's why I bought it after all. To protect my, and by proxy, your shiny non-metal asses.
Anyway, everydody alright? How about you Feyri, you sure your suit didn't get ruptured? Hey Jim, would you mind quickly checking Feyri's suit for possible tears or the like?

Oh,and if nobody has a problem with it, I think I'll take point from now on. There still might be more traps.

Start going into the hospital. Try to find a map of the place somewhere inside, and look for the lowest level.

((So we're part of a coalition of Air Conditioning technicians? :incredibly lame pun:))
((Puns make me laugh XD))

Feyri turned towards Miyamoto, tapping on his Armor.

"Can someone broadcast our intentions? Who suspects minefield all around us? I do. Also, that was an 'it', Flint? You....couldn't tell his gender? Err- anyway, yeah. I'm...glad they're alive and safe.

"Children should never see the horrors of war, firsthand. Let them rejoice with Holodata and Virtual Reality."

'I am doing that as we speak.'

Scan around with heat vision.

((Why not use a gravity manipulator to create an area of intense gravity pointed towards the center? For added damage, you can use a microwave amp to create a small area of immense heat near the center of said gravity. You might even be able to use automated manipulators for this, not to mention it would be far safer and more cost-effective.))

Name:Flint/Sir posts-a-lot - Team C - Main Elevator

"Now, teams, since we are free of command's watchful eye, I think its a good time to talk about something that has been causing me concern for a while now. Command said that they weren't going to let potentially contaminated material escape the colony. We are possibly contaminated material. Do you follow my train of thought?"

After some thought Flint added:"Errm, Teams, I just realised something. If we can't talk to command, how are we going to call the APCs if we find any survivors?' Or do you think they're going to send one down after some time passes? Hmmm... I don't think command would be stupid enough to get infected."

'I think the APC's are programmed to automatically pick up and drop off survivors, so that shouldn't be a problem. About not letting us go... Well, that is possible, but I doubt it. If this were really so dangerous that they wouldn't let us go, why bother with sending a resque party anyway? They could've just nuked it from orbit. 'potentially contaminated material' refers to inanimate carriers, I think. Either way, if they won't let us go, there is nothing we can do about it anyway, seeing how they have our kill-switch at their disposal.'

Miyamoto 'Big Spoon', leader team C 'The Spoon Squad'

"Just watch out for those flamethrower wielding doctors. If they burnt down C block imagine what they did to their own hospital.

On the bright side looks like command can't hear us anymore so we can talk freely. Anybody found any evidence of UWM involvement?"

Follow the leader.

'Remember, even though these suits protect against heat and should probably help a lot, still don't take any chances. You never know what they could have in store for us.

Anyways, Mesk's idea is as good as any I suppose, so let's get going.
Team C, form up and move out.'

Get going for the hospital. Blare blatant.lies.mp3 over external speakers and over all radio frequencies.

((Say, corsair, do you ever have the intention of actually using this thing? Or are we doing this as a thought experiment? Cause your current design would need approximately all of the tokens.))

8053
'When we're back on ship, I'm gonna grab a biiig bucket of fluorescent paint and draw a nice big spoon over your armor, for the both of you.'

8054
'Erm, yeah, don't mind them. It's been a very long day, forgive them for goofing off like that. Anyway, is there any leader among your group? 'Cause I need to make absolutely sure that everybody is here and boards those APC's.

"Ahem, I did promise a prize for one of them, you realize. It would be dishonest not to provide one. And if there's one thing I most definitely am, it's honest. Fatally so."

'Well, sure, but look at it from their point of view. First, a horrible disease breaks out, starts killing people messily.  Then, doctors start torching the place, riots, the whole shebang. Finally, when desperation and starvation starts setting in, we barge in here, demand they come with us on penalty of death. And then you give them...
A spoon.

Mission 7 was a roadtrip through a robot testing ground where the team got repeatedly fired upon, thrown around, beaten up and eventually escaped, despite some of their best efforts to the contrary.

((Hey, I resent that statement! We could've tried much harder to kill us all before we left. Hell, we didn't even nuke the place.))
