I don't remember seeing Engineer in the mage/druid/shaman decks for ladder play... ever? Did I miss something?

You don't see it much because it usually only ends up in decks that are focused on cycling through their deck as quickly as possible (like freeze mage). But there haven't been a lot of freeze mage on ladder for a while. Another somewhat recent deck that used it was the worgen combo deck that was popular until it got nerfed.

I'm not sure if you can really call a card that doesn't (afaik) actually see any play playable (novice engineer) but yeah, I agree. 1 draw is okay, 2 draw is insanely good (compare to ancient of lore, 7 mana 5/5 draw 2 was too powerful)

Novice Engineer typically sees plays in combo decks. For example you often see it in Freeze Mage.

Looks like if you are on the NA servers and you opened packs before 2:30pm PST you will be getting free packs because they messed up the drop rates.

I didn't get most of the cards I wanted but I've been sitting on 6k dust for a while so I decided to finally use some of it. I did unpack White Eyes and Inkmaster Solia though. Since I got Solia I decided to craft Kazakus so I could make a Reno deck. With White Eyes I went for a Crusher Shaman deck. Both decks seem okay but tend to get run over by Pirate warrior.

I decided to craft some cards to make a hand buffing paladin deck, so I made Don Han'Cho. It's a pretty fun deck but also tends to get run over by Pirate Warrior unless you get an amazing start. Maybe I should throw some more taunt in because taunt does hurt pirate warrior if you can get some big ones out early.

So with all the pirate warriors I thought I should fight fire with fire so I crafted Patches the Pirate and started playing pirate warrior as well. :P

Oh wow, thanks for the heads up. I think I have two copies of the original NWN somewhere but it is nice to have a digital edition.

Here's hoping we get some free packs again like we did with WotOG. I've saved up enough gold to buy 20 or so packs when it comes out and enough dust to craft a few legendaries.

I am having a sound issue with my laptop. It seems to have a "feature" where only one window will be in focus for sound at a time. The window in focus will be loud and clear, but the sound coming from other windows will be somewhat muted. A lot of times I like to play a game and have music on in the background, and the music sounds bad when it is not in focus.

Is there any way to disable this feature?

Thanks for the tips Umiman, I was able to put down the Chaos faction in the end, but not before they razed half my territory. It's hard to keep up with 5 armies running rampant on your doorstep :P

Part of my problem was army composition like you mentioned. I had 3 full armies but they had a lot of skeletons because I only needed to add some monsters and a bit of cavalry to take on the Empire. Almost every battle was super easy until I ran into the Chaos armies in the late game.

I am fighting Chaos for the first time (playing as the Vampire Counts) and I quickly realised that they aren't push-overs like the Empire. I managed to catch one of their armies with three of mine. I expected it to be a fairly easy victory but it ended up a lot closer than I would have liked. The problem was that when my reinforcements showed up all they had with them were their lowest tier of troops. All my cavalry and monster units that weren't part of the main attacking army were held in reserve. Is there any way influence which units show up first?

Any tips for fighting Chaos in general? I am having a hell of a time because I am being attacked by the Varg, the Norscans as well as the armies of Chaos all at the same time. I have three full strength armies but the enemy are razing my provinces faster than I can pick them off. And when I do pick some of them off they are back with more full stacks while I'm dealing with the others.

I just started playing again with a friend. It haven't played since it was in early access so it is neat to see all the changes.

Does the AI ever try to break sieges without a supporting army? I've besieged and encircled provinces against armies that were of similar size or larger than my own and they never try to break out. The only time I've seen them try to break a siege is when they bring in a second army.

Some other big information was that harpies are being added as FLC for the Beastmen, alongside Morghur being playable in the main campaign if you own the Beastmen DLC (Still being present in the campaign if you don't own the DLC).
Also, apparently Morghur starts in Nordland and can turn friendly units into Chaos Spawns.

Morghur turns enemy units into chaos spawn, not friendly ones. I'm assuming it works a bit like raise dead for the vampires.

There are rumours of a version of sun/moon making it onto the upcoming switch, codenamed Pokemon Stars.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-11-18-nintendo-switch-will-get-pokemon-sun-and-moon-version

I'm tempted just to wait and pick it up then so I don't have to play it on a crappy 3ds screen.

A big patch has landed which seems to address a lot of issues with the game. You can rename cities now!

Here are the patch notes:
