My next update may be slightly delayed - nonsense is occurring IRL.
Is there anything specific that people want done? I'm going to import a bunch of animals, and I think pottery was mentioned earlier on?

Oh, since you have a crucible up, you may want to consider trading for Ilmenite from the homelands if you can get it. It's an ore of iron that has Vanadium in it, and will make a natural Steel Alloy when smelted in a crucible called Crucible Steel that's better than normal steel. (This is actually Wootz steel or Damascus Steel, historically)
What? Isn't Damascus Steel made from magnesium and iron?

OK, so I only dismantled the buildings that weren't fully constructed. Because we haven't regulated our tree-chopping in any way, our wood supply WILL run out if we're using it for the metal industry as well.
But that's not likely to happen this year, so it's not my problem.

What we do have is a pile of... :checks stockpile records: ...sixty-one limestone blocks, all on one tile:

We also have a lot of berry bushes growing around - we're gathering those, too.

I thought everything was running smoothly enough, except that we still have no booze. Pots from the craftdwarf's shop are being made at an excruciatingly slow rate, and they're all getting filled with Armok-damned seeds.
Then this happened.

I should check what they are. But we're not exporting anything, are we?

Which, um, might be something to do with with my DF install, but I don't know. He did recover quite quickly for someone who got the suturer in the body part.

OK, so looking over the fortress as it stands, we have three problems:
1. There is no booze.
2. We have a buttload of teeth and bones just lying around.
3. It's friggin' disorganised.

This will require a course of action roughly along the lines of:
1. Make booze. (duh.)
2. Assign inactive dwarves to bonecarving. Seriously, we have a LOT of those damn things.
3. Disassemble everything and reassemble it in separate districts. This may also include dismantling some of those random wooden structures lying around the place: we need that wood for charcoal.

How is the data from the Curses interpreter going to be... uh... interpreted by the AI? It seems hideously complicated.

Assuming the AI 'understands' the Interpreter, will it be capable of registering multi-tile features, such as a cistern, or furnace room, or parts of the surface as 'unsafe due to goblins'? If so, how will this be done?

If all the items you have all occupy the same space, they would either form a singularity and almost instantly disappear due to hawking radiation, or they would just start moving things toward it, while not making a singularity, but it would make it the center of the Earth or something similar...

- Well, in theory, if you put all the materials in an embark in the same spot, the resulting singularity would be massive enough (on par with a big mountain) to acrete mass faster than it'd loose it to Hawkings Radiation, which would result in a microscopic black hole bouncing around the planet's interior and causing Earthquakes all over the place before eventually swallowing up the entire planet.
Well, that sounds hopeful.
