Want me to insult you into action? Otherwise, it's good practice to put a draft away for a couple of months and then approach it with a clear head. Have you tried that?

I've heard of that. Maybe a few months break from it invading my every waking thought will be helpful.

I am curious about the 'insult into action' thing, though. :p

Breeders are the evil. You should've picked up a dog from a shelter. :(

Not all of them.

Too many dogs about to be euthanized to put up with people breeding them for profit, imo.

This is epic.

Get Mittens to cheer you up. Also, maybe you should feed him. He's pawing at the bag of cat food.

If you're claiming that you don't have enough muscle mass to lift weights, you're wrong. The entire idea is absurd. Lifting weights is infinitely scaleable, so even a complete weakling can lift weights that are heavy and challenging for them. Besides, it's the best way to add muscle mass.

Truth. Even if you are puny, you can just lift the bar. After a few weeks of doing the exercises, learning the motion and proper form, you can start adding weight without much danger of injuring yourself. (unless you have problems already like knee or back, in that case I'd see a doctor first) Weightlifting is much less dangerous than most other sports, provided you are careful.

Do you have coeliac disease? Did the doctor have any idea what was causing the problem?

This is making me want to work out and tan. Much better for you than doing drugs, which is what I used to do... >.<

I got about three hours of walking in scoping out the business district of Bay City for employment purposes.

Ah, so that's where all the DF players live.

Train it well. A dog's behaviour is only a reflection of the owner. Clickers are valuable tools in training too.

You add the currently 'useless' things like random map generation and z-levels because if you don't do it now it will be much more difficult later. How hard is that to understand?  :-\

Not sure why you come here looking for suggestions then pull the "I am game creator so be quiet mortals!" card.

Add level spheres/themes that determine the nature of the surroundings and enemies of the level. Stuff like gore, or water, plant, industrious etc. Think Silent Hill-ish terraforming.

I have no motivation to edit. Reading the draft gives me a feeling of dread, and when I try to push through it it's like my creativity dries up. Maybe I am looking at it in too big pieces instead of cutting it into smaller chunks. I dunno.

Frustrating.

So I have been drinking 4-5 cups of milk a day, which at 12 grams of sugar puts me over the daily recomended intake of sugar. Now I know that is bad, but Men's fitness says milk helps build muscle (which really only reinforces my habit), so I was wondering if you think that makes up for the increased sugar intake?

Unless you are underweight I wouldn't be trying to drink crazy amounts of milk. There are way better protein sources that don't come with a bunch of carbs, like eggs, lean meat, canned tuna etc.

You can do body-weight squats and push-ups without any equipment. Sprinting is also preferable over jogging, but ease yourself into it if you're not used to the exercise. You can get very fit just doing those and some other body-weight exercises, just do a lot of them in the mornings or before you sleep. Get a pull-up bar for $10 and you can do even more. Free weights aren't that expensive either. Jumping rope is also a really cheap and intense exercise.

My comp makes weird loud grinding noises when I turn it on, they quiet down in about 20 mins but it's still pretty loud. Thinking the fan is loose or something, but I already cleaned the comp of dust (took it completely apart, cleaned fans + heatsink, etc) but the noise is still there. What do?

If you haven't even talked to them in a year, why would they assume you are going anyway?

I was really confused when I went to America, bought a certain amount of things to be equal to the amount of change I had and then it's 20% more. Such a weird thing. Why don't you add tax to the price so you can put the real price on the label? Seems unnecessary to have to calculate wherever you go.
