What exactly you did to raws to get this... how to describe it... shivering, living ground?

messing with the minerals, gems and stone layer raws (copy and pasted them) before I genned the world. I think.

What is the farthest distance that a dwarf can be catapulted by a raised bridge? Are dwarves injured if they hit a wall during their 'flight' or only when they hit the ground?  ???

Weird, whenever i try to do this my DF just gets an error message and forcecloses

What is going on!? Why can't I enjoy my insanity?!

Sometimes if you change too much it crashes. If you're just using "play now!" you might be embarking with random generic 'meat' that crashes the game aswell. Try changing a few things at a time

Edit: just embarked as batmen with 50 pet beetles and dragonflies in cages.

Cat Fortress. Playing with the cat mod. So many cats died completing this, from being attacked by werewolves 5 times, drinking in the carp-infested river, having a tantrum spiral and then having two cats, one uninjured, one with a mangled lower body to fight off a unicorn-riding elf ambush. "Little Caz", a cat that had been in the fort from the beginning died valiantly fighting the elves before a 30-cat migrant wave turned the elves into a fine bloody mist.

I have one major problem with Stonesense. It makes everything look far too light and airy and happy for dwarf fortress. Armok would be ashamed :P

Stonesense is awesome. But, I agree. It needs blood smears and blood pools and corpses. And dismembered limbs. And dwarf chunks.
