There is like food and beer all over the place yet somehow some dwarfs manage to perish. There is nothing blocking them, but all in all very amusing. However, I put my barrels off in the hallway as well, but im pretty sure it shouldnt affect movement. enlightment plz.

DF Gameplay Questions / Infinite water?

Howdy do everyone, I'm building my fortress next to this "brook" I think. Do I get infinite water from it?  Or would it run dry like those ponds? Im hoping it works like old dwarf fortress, so I could farm easily. I'm also thinking of using it to flood a cave (neighbors) filled with batmen and troglodytes would I run out of water this way?

help! my dwarves arnt digging! My miners just dropped their picks into the weapon stockpile and become haulers. How can I resolve this?

and all I discovered was that they had no buildings, no nothing. It was just trees trees and more trees. Needless to say I left asap.

Not even goblins seem to settle in those places.
