Yeah, as if high altitude flak was anything more than annoying. Especially if we made night raids on their industry or cities.
And they don't even have a gun that could serve as flak, nor they have deployed anything resembling flak. Their biggest weakness is air, atm.

Ok fine, flak won't be very effective. But neither will our night bombing. At the moment, our best navigation system is the compass.
Unless they start covering all their lights, their cities, industry and bases will be pretty visible even at high altittude. And compass is enough, after all we just need to bomb the right part of island.

High altitude flak isn't that expensive, and we won't have enough fuel for mass deployement.

Why dont we design a coal-to-oil process for more ressources? Oil really is the bottleneck, and will continue to be pretty much forever.
The more uranium we get, the more research material we have with which we can make nukes. A nuke would be a National Effort, of course, but that's fine. It's what it's supposed to be.
Nukes. In 1927...
EDIT: Also, honestly, I don't think we will manage to make nukes at all. After all, the island we are on is pretty small, we may not even have uranium at all. Not to mention that outside world may get pretty angry after we would deploy one.

I was thinking that we would need high performance aircrafts as well, but then I remembered: unless they capture and exploit the jungle or the mountains, they can't really field whole metal airplanes. Which means they can't increase in performance much compared to what they have. So, even at a performance hit it would be beneficial to cheapen them: they can't build a significantly better fighter that would pick our ones as they were flies.
We still may want to make an high-alt bomber.
They won't have ANY way to defend against it.

For me, even tough I'm a IG guy all the way, I really like the Tau, both like them (to be the second faction I play the most on dawn of war) and like them being in the game because they bring some variety to the mix, not only by themselves but by their allies and proxies. Hell they even brought back the Dwarf in SPACE, well, sort of.
Except not really. Also, Squats still exist, obviously. It's just foul warp trickery.

I don't think there are many ways to improve fuel efficiency. I mean, I can't think of a single system.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuel_economy_in_automobiles#Fuel_economy-boosting_technologies
Funilly enough one of those is using smaller engines with turbo/superchargers.
EDIT: Those are car-specific, so there may be even more when it comes to planes.

Unlike fuel injection, turbochargers actually increase the amount of fuel used to increase the engine's power. Since the goal is to decrease the amount of fuel they use, revising them to have turbochargers is counter-productive.
We will have to use them sometime anyway, and we're about in time they were introduced en-masse to airplanes. Turbocharges will allow our planes to be more powerful and more importantly, more useful at higher altittudes. We could bomb them all the day long being outside their AA weapons range and their maximum altittude.

The system doesn't allow for weapon designers to join High Command.
Sadly.
The following is outside of the Revision phase: Telephone High Command, asking for some guards to watch the research facility at night, citing the incident where our design for the mortar was nearly stolen had it not been for our spy.
You speak to a representative, who simply says, "Your concerns have been noted." Days later, you receive a letter addressed "to some engineer who called" from the palace. It states that too many guards are currently assigned to the palace's Department 17, the purpose of which is not stated and unknown to you.
Anyone have any ideas on what Department 17 is all about?
Guarding the toilet. Or something.

(On the other hand, those bandits seem to have shitty everything anyway, so a good crossbow army would make extremly quick work of their charge).
Yes it would. But what about the 4 hundredth charge where all your bolts are gone? I'm not fucking kidding either, I've seen armies of bandits in Floris with upwards of 2000 men. And the desert ones can have Black Khergits, a special unit that very much does NOT have shitty anything. And because of sheer numbers you will face one or two entire wavefuls of these bastards, usually after attrition sets in.
If your bandits are armies of 2000 special commando units, you're using wrong mod or settings really and it's your own fault.

There's nothing else to revise besides the plane engines and the turbocharger. Given the choice, people will go with the turbocharger. In 1925, we had the choice between revising the plane engine and the tank. The primary objective was to cheapen fuel injection and it would've made both cheaper, but deciding which specific engine we worked on was what mattered.
If we chose to revise the tank engine, we might've gotten a turbocharger. If we revised the plane engine, it might use less Oil. Most people voted for revising the tank engine.

I have no reason to believe that anyone's opinions have changed since then, but I may be being overly cynical.

Glory to Arstotzka.
Two things...
Turbochargers could be used in planes too, but I really don't see the point of adding another plane engine, as right now we have regular one and the one with fuel injection. Ideally we could design an engine utilizing both those technologies (but we would need cheaper turbochargers) and use it in every big vehicle from now on, after all tank can use airplane engines.
And if you're so good at predicting what will happen, why don't you transfer to army command and start winning the war for us.

It's necessary that we get cheaper tanks this turn because they have an Expense credit too and they're likely to use it on their tank. We need to develop radios before we can develop cheap aircraft and the temporarily cheaper tanks will hold the line long enough for us to do so.
Then I don't get what you're babbling about. If we're developing the radio now and using expense credit on tanks, then what's not going right according to your plan? I don't recall everyone thinking that turbocharger might be better for next year.

Of course, everyone else thinks that a cheaper turbocharger for our tank is more important.
It's necessary that we get cheaper tanks so we'll need to use our Expense credit on it.
You what? I smell... sikrit agints.
Though I actually think I may agree with you. The planes are what is really useful now, being one of few things that can kill their heavy tanks, and are generally pretty nice thing to have. We could use the credit on them.

Just because you found a weak dominant strategy (you can enforce a not-lose, no matter what the enemy does), doesn't mean there isn't a better strategy around.
I'm not exactly sure how well this tactic would work. From front, he would die to bolts. From back, he would be unable to kill crossbowmen for shit, becaue of huge planks they carry on their backs. Maybe from sides, but they would be relatively small target, and they're quite tough. We sadly aren't going to figure out who would win.

We're lacking in short and short-medium? We have our SMGs and just got grenades...
Our SMGs are Expensive. Unlike machine guns, SMGs are supposed to be cheap and many of our soldiers should have them. They're not, unfortunately, so we're lacking rather badly in that area. Grenades are not primary weapons.

Glory to Arstotzka.
Make them cheaper, not make a completly new design, we could use design for something else.
http://Also I said, take enough grenades and you have new primary weapon.
EDIT: Again, you saw nothing.

Or he could just sit back at the other edge of the map and have a draw, since neither side is moving. And if you move, he can just go back to his maneuvering tactic.
Why would I? Rhodoks are known for being patient, Khregits aren't. Also, I can as well move around on edges of map. :*

Sigmarines
You like it?
In the Noble Brightness of Age Of Sigmar... there is only interracial sex. Everyone happily lives on a FUCKING SPACE STATION. THEY LIVE ON A FUCKING SPACE STATION, COME THE FUCK ON! It's not bad as, like, End Times of course. It's an abomination and should be purged from history.
Also there is no Kislev, so no winged hussars or bear cavalry, it outright states that Gork is brutal and Mork is cunning, which is BULLSHIT, they were supposed to be both at the same time, but there is actually no point in mentioning that, as this thing is complete total destruction of Warhammer FB and everything it ever standed for. 0/10 GWS you suck. As for the rules... rules... you can scream WAAAAGH to get rerolls. There is a rule benefiting the player with the bigger mustache... I'm not even joking.
And the whole thing got created only because GW wanted to put a huge gold statue in front of their door, and show off how absurdly rich they are.
