Yeah, T4 still has ascii as an option. Even still occasionally gets some attention when an odd bug or somethin' pops up for it. Not a separate version, but it's an in-game option.

Most roguelikes still at least have an ascii mode available even if it's not the main focus or default option, but yeah, there's still a fair few (particularly among newer ones) that don't. Ain't no thang, as they say. Cept for folks with really bad computers, or those that just don't like tiles, I guess.

Seriously though, if anyone in my family sprayed fucking lysol into an animal's eyes, I'm pretty sure the rest of the family would put them in the hospital. Either a mental one or in traction, one of the two. That's not even an exaggeration or joke for effect, shit would get violent real fast if that sort of animal abuse was caught

Bit late, but while that's technically true, do you really think someone with a felony conviction would actually manage to get the position? Particularly if they netted it during the campaign? Particularly if they're running as a republican "fuck criminals with a cyanide laced cactus" candidate?

Disqualified was probably the wrong word (unless the republican party has something in their bylaws or whatever that says they can/must strip candidacy from a felon, which I would be entirely unsurprised if they did), but something like that is basically a death knell for someone running for a major political position. It's one of the reasons people have been saying about the only thing that would have stopped clinton's dem nomination was if she actually got indicted.

There's... several dozen different things that can keep you mostly bedridden/sickly until you grow up a bit, I do believe. Some more common than others, though it's definitely less common in general nowadays. Malnutrition would be an easy one, though, sure. Kinda' depends on what's missing, and so far as I'm aware there tend to be physical symptoms there that don't tend to be displayed in the fiction settings being discussed, but eh. Could just be some kind of local bug or allergies, too. Probably a buncha' other stuff, it's not like the symptoms generally involved are particularly uncommon.
