... wait, which one? Guessing SF2 'cause yeah, I'd probably agree its initial fight is a bit more difficult than SF1's, but you can totally still wipe in SF1's first fight pretty easily. Neither game plays around all that much, difficulty wise.

Well, of course. You're talking about two groups that are basically legendary in their incompetence :P

I mean, I'm joking, but only so much. There's a lot of folks out there that have been basically weaned on the absolute truth that political "experts" are all cranks, and security experts are an extension of the old memes about intelligence agencies, i.e. too late, too slow, and out of touch with the current state of things at best. It's basically bullshit, but at the same time it's a very pervasive narrative that can pretty easily influence how much weight is being given to a particular opinion.

Little bit. Not missing out on too much, though. SFII is the better game by a pretty significant margin, I'd say.

Yeah see the way I know this isn't what happened is that Yomi started surrounded by throne provinces and never managed to expand past its capital. So it never won a battle, probably because it STUCK A FUCKING SLAVE COLLAR ON ITS PRETENDER :P
No, no... that's not a guarantee. Events can cause battles, too, and while as far as I can recall they're incredibly unlikely (save for the troll) to generate anything with an item, I'm pretty sure it's still possible. If collars really can be picked up post fight, there's still a(n incredibly small) chance Yomi could have basically landed on just about the worst RNG results in the history of D4, instead of making a rather impressively bad decision.

... it's bloody close to certain it was the AI being an idiot, but... it might not have been. The possibility may be there (assuming slave collars actually can be picked up*).

*Which if they can, I'm totally going to have to remember collar bombing as a tactic if I ever run a blood nation. Mass produce scouts and collars, send them into a vital enemy army to die and cripple important stuff~

... well, for what it's worth with that sega thing, it does have what I'd call a solid majority of the good games the system had, at least of those that saw an english release. If for whatever reason you feel like paying for official roms, it wouldn't be a particularly bad deal.

Every example I've heard of someone banned from Twitter was a genuinely horrible troll account deliberately making life worse for other people.  Why would anyone want to start a service aimed at attracting that kind of behavior?
To exploit a niche market? Scum has money, too, and advertising funds est. It'd probably be difficult to maintain anything in particular (look at the many attempts at chan alternatives, ferex), but if you can make a buck you can make a buck.

There's also the ever popular (or perceived as such by the sorts that would be attracted to such services, anyway) honeypot, as well.

Sure, but they can't very well claim impartiality at the same time.
Sure they can. They're impartially seeking more profit, yeah. The most capitalistic of impartiality.

Or they're just not 100% perfect at it or whatev'. However long the guy was operating beforehand they seemed to be doing a pretty good job in his particular case. Though I guess you could make the goat fornication argument *shrugs*

... and yeah, TA, it is. Typo, for all I'm leaving it.

It's... not even a freedom of speech thing, though? Not being allowed to speak on a privately owned medium isn't exactly a 2nd amendment violation... pretty much at all, really. Not how the thing works.

Twitter has a right to kick out whoever the hell they want whenever the hell they want because it's right there in the contract you agree to when you use their service and completely legal besides. Not because it's the internet or... whatever. Disagree with their reasons or consistency or whatever, but not their right.

... is that an oblique way of saying you're shopping for russian brides or somethin'? Or grooms, I guess.

Actually, I'm now kinda' curious if there's been any same-sex green card marriages in the states yet...

It's... been a while since I've tried to use windows update again. On vista. Because I remember the last time I did very, very well. It fucked my computer so hard I had to go and navigate to a rollback blind -- it screwed the display pretty much utterly. I was walking back and forth between this 'un and the other machine in this house for... a while. Working through that entire process without actually being able to see what window is open or which button is active is an experience.

... man, some of y'all must have an incredibly poor opinion of toady. Twitter gave that critter a hell of a lot more leeway for a hell of a lot longer than he would have got around here...

As for kaine, well. More or less. Except significantly better than just that because

Eesh, translations. That thing where cultures use foreign names for exotic/legendary/etc. figures, that sounds basically fine in the native language, but when translated into said foreign name's original language is... somewhat less impressive. It's kinda' hard to take the reputation of the grand historical master of a mystical art seriously when they're talking about the ancient and storied ultimate alchemist... Chris.

... close combat mage is the name of the work. I... kinda' recommend avoiding it since it's an OP MC wank work with an underage protagonist that involves a certain degree of literal wanking (not much, mind, as there's been like four, maybe five chapters with some NSFW warning in the first 230 or so chapters, and they usually didn't take up much wordspace regardless, but still.), but that's the name if anyone's curious.

Eh, you just have to find the right country. I'm pretty sure there's somewhere that has a legal framework for consensual dismemberment, or at the very least not enough of a legal system for anyone to care enough to stop you.

Alternately, it could be a card that can only be played when all the players have prosthetic hands.
