No, you will not.  This will create further deflationary pressure.  Goddamn it Fed, why did you have to hike rates way back 3 months ago?
I can dream, damnit. Well. Nightmare, I guess. Whatever.

I think what I'm most curious about in the immediate moment is if this means we're going to get to see a trillion pound note in our lifetimes. The overall global negative economic effect would almost be worth that.

... well, not really almost, but it'd be some small consolation.

... okay, I now mildly regret mentioning momodora. The third one, anyway. Not because it's bad or anything, not in the least (it's probably the best of the three, mechanics/control wise, from what I've seen so far), just because it... could have really used a caveat. The second boss is. Well, there's not a better way of putting it. It's you engaging in deadly combat with a giant woman's cleavage.

I was not expecting it.

I mean. The fight's actually pretty alright? Just from the mechanics and patterns and whatnot standpoint. but. Yeah. Jiggle physics on a screen sized... probably zombie. It's a thing.

So we've got vouching for Magicmaker... but has anyone tried Code Spells?
Hadn't even heard of it. Interesting premise. Recent reviews look pretty rough, though...

I thought Mister Mime was his father. His mother sure hangs out with that pokemon enough.
... do we even know if that one is male? Despite the name, the critters have a 50/50 gender split.

I mean. It might not actually make a difference, pokemon world being the pokemon world. But if some part of canon confirmed it was male, that'd make the theory more plausible.

Nah, there's definitely some weird shit in there. Not too much, but some. Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind.

E: Well, and there's that those two states aren't mutually exclusive. You could still have terrible taste in games even though there was some weird stuff mentioned.

Can vouch for magicmaker (also, its sound track is kinda' bloody amazing; I actually bought the soundtrack on release, despite not getting the game itself until today.*) -- it has a demo, though, if you're considering it. Thea's pretty nice -- there's pretty decent LPs out there to get a better idea what it's like. Dungeons of the Endless I would also give a second vote, trails of the sky, too.

Endless Legends... is maybe kinda' iffy. A lot good about it (and the soundtrack is pretty good, too), but unless it's changed in recent-ish updates the enemy AI is kinda' brain dead.

And meph: Joy2key :P

* Even though I didn't need to -- the music's easily accessible in the game data. I just wanted to give the composer some money.

... if you were after something gauntlet-esk, definitely check hammerwatch again. It's quite gauntlety. It can definitely be played 4 player, though I can't recall how you go about doing it.

It honestly kinda' looks like something's just borked up on that front. Browsing through the specials had the lists freaking out pretty much constantly. You'd refresh a page twice and see the same game in three different places (assuming it doesn't end up off the page entirely).

I'm mostly just vaguely amused it's on the same day as the start of the steam summer sale, at the moment. Part of me can't help but wonder if there's some folks in the UK somewhat cheery the pound is dropping (well, for reasons other than the normal ones, I guess) >_>

He's Pokemon Jesus of course he doesn't fall victim to the ravages of time. Guy's probably secretly a human-form Pokemon himself.
Is more likely than anyone would probably want to think. Guy can manipulate aura. If not a straight up pokemon, it's a non-zero possibility he's at least got some blood in 'em. Among all the other stuff that could be involved, y'do have to remember we still have no zogging clue who (or what) his father is.

Don't ask how the genetics would work out. Blame it on arceus. Or one of the other legendaries, I guess.

Ssooo... dem bones sales. Been scrolling through the specials in my general price range... noticed a few things of interest. Solar War's going at half (~10 USD, which is... probably still a little much, but I'm likely nabbing it anyway), a fairly neat take on the XCOM ethos, just, y'know, in space. Valdis Story is going at 75% off (~3.75) -- already own it, but it's a lovely little thing I'd totally recommend for folks that appreciate metroidvanias. Does pretty close to everything fairly solidly, if perhaps a titch short for your average metroidvania. Dungeon Warfare going for half off, at ~5. Pretty neat TD style game based mostly around traps instead of towers. Rub to actually buying it is that there's mostly (entirely?) feature complete flash versions on kong and such... still, probably one of the better TD style games out there, all told. Child of Light looks pretty neat; don't have it, but watched folks play a little and probably going to get, particularly at 75% off and <4 bucks. Looks like some or all of the Momodora games are going for fairly cheap, too... fairly cutesy metrodvanias with pretty solid design and implementation. First two are fairly short, though... dunno about the third. Pretty worth the asking price despite it.

Not on sale, but has anyone played this thing? Dig or Die, looks kinda' interesting. Or this -- sale's piddly, but I appreciated magicite a fair bit, so it'd be interesting to hear someone's thoughts on it. Also lookin' at these two, if anyone would happen t'have something to warn about them, or a better substitute for a similar game style.

Beyond all that, anything in particular y'all have noticed, yet?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill a meme.
Pretty sure you could, actually. You just have to kill everyone that knows it (which would eventually entail suicide, but eh) and destroy all other records of its existence. That'd make it about as dead as anything gets.
