You'll take my eyes before you put chrome on this computer, but fair enough.

Hey now. Corporatocracy is a principle, too.

Huh. Doesn't show as one in opera. Doesn't run in firefox. Hrm. And that's the total limit of browsers I'm willing to try it on, so maybe someone else can look at it, heh.

Would... would you happen to have a better source than someone on twitter putting up an uncaptioned still picture and claiming to have gotten it from skynews? I mean. Maybe check skynews, where the claim is apparently being sourced from?

Reports of
Multiple eyewitnesses said they didn't hear any of those shouts despite being near the incident.
Only two a cursory google found was this and this. Didn't see anything about multiple ones, though. Nor named ones.

Near as I can tell from the quick lookabout there's one anonymous source saying they didn't hear a shout (mind, there's at least one other eyewitness that said they didn't even hear a shot), and multiple other ones saying they did, at least two of them willing to put their name behind their claim.

No, no you didn't. Clinton is the Rock of Gibraltar encased in adamantine compared to Trump. She's actually been pretty consistent on her stated (and pursued, where relevant) policies over the years, whereas Trump... I'm still not entirely sure he knows what his policies are. Am entirely sure what he says on a lot of them monday ends up not being the same thing on tuesday. Clinton at least has the decency to take years before changing tacks (and even then, usually broadly in the same direction), most of the time.

They're apparently on steam, actually. There's... also an android version of some sort or another.

Not that that would exactly mean much. Still, he could be. Could be just about anything. Dunno, and couldn't be sure even if he's said something on it. Could change tomorrow. And the day after, and the day after, and...

the modding, the modding!
So, basically nudity.
Sometimes you have to take the bad good with the good. It's a sacrifice I'd be willing to make. The dream of engaging in an oil wrestling match with ganon could finally become realized.

... so. Are. Are sustained beam lascannons something that's part of canon, or is it just some kind of tech heresy?

E: Also, not going to lie, I think that comment about "so many units on screen" or whatever it was may have pissed me off a little. DoW1 was looking down on that with disappointment.

E2: And yeah, there may have been some instinctive revulsion when gabby started hitting things. Looked so bloody out of place for warhammer. Brutally efficient centuries old geneengineered might-as-well-be-machine of war... tosses his hammer up like a parade baton. It twirls. What the hell have they done to you gabby ;_;

E3: I mean. I could see it on a harlequin or slanneshi or somethin'. But a space marine chapter master? No. Just... no.

Yeeeaaaah, it's probably not going to hit PC until NX emulators do. Or Wii-U, I guess, if it's intended to run on that, too.

It'd probably be pretty amazing if it did hit PC legitimately (the modding, the modding!), but chances of that are very, very low.

I'd... say not really? Most of its humor is mostly, like. Grounded in the setting? Plot, whatever. Something along those lines. So far as I can recall. Generally not actually random.

That said, it could get pretty outlandish/bizarre, because, y'know. There's some weird shit going on in KlK.

Yeah, there's something borked up with that last one, now that I look a little closer (I wasn't checking the individual weapon data when I first hit it). Bit of a shame, it was easily the best presented source of data on the UK I've ran into so far, even if the numbers are off. The rest of them, and particularly the governmental sources, could really stand to learn something from that format, heh. And... yeah, that second link was kinda' misaimed; was only for the 2013 data, which didn't include firearm homicides on the site itself, either. The one they were using for older stuff (00-10) was here -- appears pulling from around page 70. Actual data was actually already linked somewhere up thread a bit.

Some degree of underreporting can be sorta' expected, for what it's worth, depending on which set of data's being used; there's basically two sources, same as the US, the official police records and crime survey results, and the official records for both of 'em are often... pretty drastically lower than said survey results. This was a kinda' interesting breakdown that wears its bias on its web address but also clearly sources everything on the page and details how they're making calculations. Haven't gotten around to double-checking them (and probably won't, in all likelihood), but the estimate it makes back in '13, on '11 numbers, for underreporting for the US an' UK between the police records and survey results was ~4.8x and ~2.6x, respectively (the rest of the calcs on the page don't factor that in, though).

Eh, they can, but overdosing is something approaching notorious for being an unreliable method of suicide. It being one of the preferred methods women kill themselves with in the US is one of the reasons the successful suicide rate for women is somewhere in the ballpark of a third that of males, despite attempts being something like three times higher.

As... as far as I'm aware, KlK is very different from S;G. Comparing S;G to KlK would be like comparing durians to rocket powered kiwis.

That said, I've never gotten around to watching S;G, so I can't comment on the comparative quality. Just can note that KlK is indeed pretty good, if probably not exactly universally appealing.
