Feed it to a cow. *coughs* Or wrap it in vitamins and whatnot.

But so far as I'm aware, and cursory googling showed, basically no so far as grass by itself goes. There are varieties of grass that we can eat and do alright by, but your bog standard yard grass sorts aren't really one of them. You can maybe eat it, but it's not unlikely to make you sick and won't do much for you regardless, no matter how you cook it. We're just not really equipped to digest the stuff.

E: You can also mulch it and use it to grow other plants you actually can easily get stuff out of. Like livestock, but less bodily fluids. So... sorta'! If you count filtering it through an intermediary and eating the intermediary processing.

That's it, yeah. Haunted is the manikin one, wild hunt the sacred killer, probably a couple others I'm forgetting. Nature and nature crosspaths actually have a lot of really nice globals besides the normal Mother Oak/Gift of Health, they just don't seem to get used all that much. I'd actually consider wild hunt almost a straight counter to reanimation nations -- killing off 3-4 priests a turn does pretty terrible things to nations reliant on H casters for something or another, and they're bloody hard to stop in D4.

As to cast and retreat, basically anything that's battlefield wide and a single turn effect -- earthquake, mass enslave, solar brilliance, etc., etc., etc. Most of the lingering stuff will cut off once the caster retreats. Bonus points if they don't have a means of healing affliction and the spell causes them (plague, solar brilliance again, and so on). You can do it earlier with non-battlefield wide stuff, it's just riskier and generally not as effective.

And yeah, horror marking in general is kinda' iffy, especially compared to disease and whatnot. The flip side to that is that disease and afflictions can be, well, countered. Horror marks and seeds are pretty much forever, and you can't really get rid of them short of getting the afflicted killed off. Also blood tends to be really nice for just spewing those kinds of things all over the place -- leprosy may be 20 times better, but a blood nation may just be able to cast horror seed 20 times more than they can cast leprosy :P S'all about access and what the target can manage, basically.

Eeehhh... it would have if we had had more forts. And it kinda' has mattered a fair bit -- we'd probably already be dead if it weren't for the extra cash.

... but yeah, if you lot thought we were actually a global threat at the point of invasion, I can only assume your scout penetration isn't even remotely close to what we've got :P

Uh. If that's promised for the first attempt, I can definitely confirm it doesn't work. I've actually ate nothing but potatoes for about a week before (particularly lazy, potatoes are very easy to cook, etc., etc.), and nothing like that happened. Like, at all.

What's going on I need context

i demand an out of the loop explanation
Putnum has a raging hateboner for league of legends that he shoves into basically everything (as demonstrated in this very thread!), sooner or later. That... should be enough context, really. He's complaining that FD's generally much more localized dislike for TVT isn't reacted to in the same way.

Come on, don't fuck up my shitty joke.
Gotta' start thursday morning off somehow. Low bars make for easy liftin' :V

Probably means the ones that are built to retain heat and be carried around outside the house and whatnot. The fancier ones.

and ninja'd, eh.

Yeeaaah, the arcane nexus that lasted like two turns was aggression for the attacks that started several after it got kicked down. I've got this other leg here, it's got bells on it. Very pullable!

... that said, yeah, if Iwi had given any warning they were intending to cast the nexus, I would have advised against it. The rest of our team found out what was happening the same turn y'all did :V

So, searching around my room, I found some kind of portable coffee mug left behind by my predecessor... That was apparently filled with tea since then. I've scoured it clean, but it still smell godawful. That stuff would be practical though, any idea to get rid of the smell?
Try bleach? Clean repeatedly until it goes away, maybe leave it out in sunlight for a day... that sometimes helps with stuff like that. Bust out the serious cleaning chemicals, y'know, the stuff that basically says "Breath this and die."

... though honestly, it may be cheaper to just go buy a new one. Portable coffee mugs are usually fairly cheap. Possibly moreso than the cleaning supplies it would take to make that one usable.

Totally theorycrafting here (IGNORE ME!) - but would it be better to send a SC by themselves, or with a couple of demon bodyguards?

I'm 50% concerned that if the bodyguards die, the SC will flee, and 50% concerned that if I don't give my SC bodyguards, that he'll get killed before he decides it's time to leave.
Actual SCs usually work better solo, yeah, if they're not being used to supplement an army. As you kinda' noticed, routing is a pretty serious issue with SCs that bring friends along. If you're going to have bodyguards, you'll probably want more than just a couple, heh, unless those are rather incredibly beefy bodyguards (i.e. you're just using packs of SCs instead of solo ones, which is just fine if you can afford it :P).

That said, if you're intending for it to retreat anyway, it might not be that big of a deal if they bug out early. It's mostly a problem when you don't intend for that, and/or there's no escape routes available.

Yeah man, freaking tuyudu, trying to kick people off their capital. How dare they resist unprovoked aggression :V

Not a significant voting bloc, though.
It might be, actually. Survey seems to have been done by these folks, though I got bored trying to find the actual data around that point. The numbers admitting to some degree of it definitely seem to be going up, though. It's not really an insignificant voting bloc anymore, heh, and seems likely to be even less so going forward.

... bi is a thing, mate.

... today I learned that watching wrathful skies go off in a replay can crash the game. Welp.

Xibalba zotz are only 7g :P

MA has to get them from forests, but still, heh.

Though yeah, the ability to use zotz for something else besides causing morale routs for your army (and breaking down walls, I guess) is... nice.

... though now I'm kinda' wondering if utterdark or perpetual storm (or dark skies, I guess) effects patrolling numbers. Does the game even notice that sort of thing?
