Actually, I figured it out after a bit. He got the name Redbeard because he disemboweled people and made beard wigs out of their intestines. Game didn't say a thing about it, but that's my headcanon now.

I can only imagine he's a former pirate now because that netted him like five thousand different venereal diseases and other blood transmitted pathogens and he's no longer capable of unassisted movement, but hey, hell of a nickname.

Playing game (Grisna? Something like that). Random checkpoint NPC needs talking to. Talk to 'em, they say to send along the regards of Nelson the Redbeard, Former Pirate. Who is the NPC.

They have purple hair. And no beard.

... I... I guess that's one way to throw off authorities?

Movement of sword depends on mouse movement... oh gods, I'm having Die By The Sword flashbacks, and they're janky as all hell ;_;

Not... really? Stuff like that only occasionally has major changes in pattern over the course of a single year -- '14 data is going to be about as good as '15 data, and the trend up to that point is going to be pretty solid to build a premise off of.

And so far as I'm aware, there's been no major changes indicative of a reversal, so the lack of '15 data probably isn't going to mean all that much. Mexican civil war's still about as bad, US isn't in much of a different place, most of the areas further south are about as as as they were (and no, that wasn't a typo or grammatical mistake)... so far as I can recall southland news, if anything the pressures to head back are marginally higher, on the net -- BRIC's a thing, and economic signs for those areas are... well, arguably better than they were a decade ago, anyway.

... also, when you're dealing with large scale statistics, especially with subjects as difficult to track as the one in question, you're almost always going to be lagging a year or two (or three, or...) behind. Doesn't make observations made off the data particularly wrong.

So what is the Hitler point, exactly, if it's not to defame someone with specious insinuations that bear no relation to reality?
To note that he's been directly proposing actions that are straight up identical to how the nazi party treated jews? That's really most of the point. It's about treatment of a minority, not treatment of jews specifically. We could talk about whether that's a bad thing, I guess, but I'd like to think most folks here can recognize why it's a problem...

And I didn't need to know your immediate response to that was thinking about mainiac fingering their instrument. Get. Room.

Probably a 'lil bit.

Re: The actual question, I haven't paid enough attention to LoL lately to have any idea what that is. Guessing a clan/group/etc. type thing. Insofar as personal interest goes, I'd... probably hop on one the next time I played, if one existed? It could be months before that happens again, though >_>

For what it's worth, there does seem to be a few people still fairly active, if the fact that my friends list from years back still had people alive when I played a bit a few months back. They're probably doing their own thing, but there's at least some B12 folks still (semi) regularly rolling around, so... there might be the bodies for it. Maybe.

Are these new ones something we can hit people with?

Somewhere in the depths of microsoft's HQ, the poor lone bastard that's been stuck doing wordpad development for the last couple decades just smiled the smile of the one joy they have in life.

Yup. I've had it with fried chocolate as the shell, iirc. Pretty good. Not really that different from ice cream with that kinda' solid chocolate coating, if my memory's working right (which it may not be, it's been a fair few years), but still different.

Near as I can tell checking, the ice cream is mostly still cold,* there's just at-most some caramelization of the alcohol on the outside, which is... well, if you like caramel or related substances on your ice cream, it'd probably be a good thing. Subtle, from accounts, but definitely noticeable.

Mind, you could have mostly the same effect just glazing the stuff with caramel or whatever, but that's not nearly as entertaining.

*You wouldn't have much more of an effect than using hot chocolate syrup/straight up melted chocolate, so far as I'm aware of the physics involved, which I can attest still leaves the ice cream very much cold. It just has delicious warmy bits in with it. Is good. Have to eat it a bit quicker if you don't want it to go slurry, but the taste will probably make that a non-issue :V

E: I kinda' want a hot fudge sundae now :-\

Step X when experimenting with food: See what happens when you serve it actively burning.

Turns out ice cream flambe is apparently... alright? Or something. I've never actually had it, but it's a thing people make.

Eh, if Iwi/Mini or someone(s) else wants to keep the game pushing, I'd be okay with it, m'self. I'd also dreadfully love to be lazy(er) for a week, though :P

Also promotion, retirement, and succession, among other things. I like to think it's not a terribly unorthodox position :P
