That's almost certainly not a threat. Just something about how Sanders should convert.
Well, not an explicit one, anyway. It's... fairly common to have a bit of an "Or else." tinge to those kind of statements, at least from what I've seen. I've definitely heard that sort of statement predicate some pretty serious social approbation (as in, people leaving the area because of it the lucky bastards) before. More than once :-\

Maybe not something that's commonly a threat, but definitely something that's commonly hostile, I guess you could put it. Often not really so much about conversion as signaling to like minded folks that the target is an acceptable one.

And we're in a 'period of change in rule' which happens every four or eight years, depending on whether the incumbent loses first term or hits term limits.
Which happens incessantly, depending on where and what scale you're looking at. There's usually some kind of change in rulership somewhere on the planet every bloody day. If not outright governmental/civil, than in business or military. There's not many points in human history that don't involve a period of change in rule. S'a bloody useless pointer.

Well, there is that road called putnam road. You could be the metaphorical road to wizardtown.
There's many dozen putnam roads, honestly. I'm pretty sure there's at least three within a hour drive of me. Bloody things are annoyingly common.

In other WTF news, I apparently won a radio show trivia thing today. Go go gadget google?

Sandals, siru. Or equivalent. Plenty of footwear that's open toed. Regardless, you'd do toes because they'd never expect it.

More practically, you'd not do toes because anyone that saw it would think it's a voyeur camera, and it's fairly likely even the laser feature wouldn't dissuade folks from throwing you out of public spaces for it.

Why didn't you see a doctor earlier, again?
Yoink's noted repeatedly he's somewhat phobic of doctors, iirc.

I could maybe believe it if you were including FG&RP in that, cript. Wouldn't mind seeing the source to the statement as well, though.

Post count clap. Spreads everywhere and does little good :V

... well, if we're chiming in on that, I wouldn't exactly be opposed. not saying I'd love a week without having to think about the turn, but I'd love a week of not having to think about the turn :V

Kinda' imagine some of our players are getting worn on by the slow pacing, though :P

I'unno, his period teaching anti-trust law kinda' stood out a bit, t'me. I could maybe see the bought and paid opposing someone with that kind of background...

I'm tempted to say that so long as Valve limit the P2W to mods and leave the base game untouched, things will be fine.
See, my view would be the exact opposite of that, ha. I don't really care how much they bugger the base game, but if it's going to be touching the mods... well, my interest in reinstalling DotA2 just dropped pretty significantly. All for supporting the mod devs and whatnot, but that's what a donate button is for. Not making your custom content delivery platform P2W enabled :-\

Guess I'll keep an eye on it, but... ugh. Just ugh.

So far as ranking goes, I would be reasonably certain I wouldn't experience a notably increased risk of death if it's anyone except cruz or trump. Neither the religious extremists or the (right-wing -- the left ones are at least less likely to hurt non-christians) populist crazies are groups I could see being in power and turning out well. So they're the least appealing by several orders of magnitude, because their supporters would be more likely to break my legs under more conditions given the greater opportunities one of their ilk in power would provide. I like my legs unbroken.

Rough problem is I don't really want any of the other ones in power, either. Least to most goes something like not!Trump/Cruz, not!right, not!sanders (though I'd love him as VP or somethin'), not!clinton. Basically who I'd most and least vote against, rather than for :V

Though that would be the rankings from most to least appalling. Not really any appeal for me for any of 'em regarding the POTUS position.

Not surprised Florida is having big problems....

I suppose the Bay12ers who live in Florida would be able to tell us more on that
This one wouldn't. Not only is jacksonville in the part of the state that's basically a different state from the part I live in, I tend to actively try to avoid information on FL politics. State's fucked up, the politicians are fucked up harder, trying to understand that junk will drive you crazy faster than a shoggoth blowjob. Avoid like the meth made in your neighbor's trailer.

Though you can always blame the heat or the drugs. S'actually fairly cool at the moment, but you can always blame last year's heat cooking people's brains. Or the humidity, it's definitely humid as hell right now.

Or you can give them the lenses they can forge and get one elemental per W1 caster per fight, heh. If they can live through at least five fights, you've broke even!

11654
Yeah, kinda' worried myself. Was planning to shoot a PM, at least, if this turn fell through, too, but I've been kinda' sick m'self (and away from the computer a fair bit, the last few days), heh. Don't doubt me or Iwi (or both, heh) could step in for a few turns if necessary, though.

If you've got const 6, for =<5 W, they're W2. If you're willing to splash... 35, iirc? W on one, or happen to have a omni/elemental booster sitting around, they're now W3, and can forge robes of the sea. Suddenly they're 20 water gems or less from being W3,* which means wave breakers, various summons (including naiad warriors or naiads if they're one of the N randoms, which means either pretty alright awe troops or a better platform to boost higher into water magics), Voice of Tiamat (at W2, even), most of the workhorse combat water magic, rain if you're looking to screw over a fire nation, so on, so forth. Just by their lonesome they can forge water rings, frost brands (!), water lenses (to give the boosted ones or other water casters free combat gems), rings of water breathing if you need 'em. Give 'em that ring and they can make boots of quickness -- suddenly those worst researchers in the game are a cheap and easy means of forging a good 2/7th of a solid SC/thug's loadout, and if you're having assassin problems (or want to make assassin problem for someone else :P) they can pump out bottles of living water to help with that.

... so yeah, they're shitty researchers. They're also W1, and water is one of the easiest paths in the game to boost up if you've got that initial caster and enough construction, as well as having a few rather nice trinkets and whatnot. It's pretty much always fairly useful to have access to water casters, regardless of their strength, if you've got the W income to do something with it. It's better to have W2, obviously enough, but W1 can do in a pinch (or if you've got a limited amount of higher level water mages, due to events or whatev') and they're pretty good workhorse mages regardless. Just... yeah, don't leave them researching if you can avoid it :V

*Also you've got at least 1 W4 caster, which gives you access to, uh. Almost every pure water combat spell.
