Hell, they'd probably do better with the youth vote than the current candidates.

... just... just in case you didn't notice, that was mostly just due to the subject. Not so much the distraught aspect, but the whole "extremely socially abnormal very unhygienic act" you were talking about. That sort of thing gets a pretty visceral and kneejerk reaction from folks that have been raised to maintain basic cleanliness, which is, uh. Most people.

Can sympathize with the whole don't-touch-my-stuff thing, but... yeah. You were going to get people going WTF to a ~year unwashed pair of jeans. That... should have been seen coming, y'know?

That's not how parts work, parts are made for a specific construction except for basic parts like screws and bolts. You don't put parts for one large thing on a smaller thing, YOU CAN'T MAKE A MOTORCYCLE OUT OF PLANE PARTS, YOU AREN'T AN ORK MEKBOY.
Well, you're a Dwarf Fortress player. Close enough?
Are you quite sure about that?

De... pends on which parts? And what you consider successful. I know there's at least one motorcycle out there that's rocking a jet engine, ferex. Rides just fine, they just can't really gun it.

All I'm saying is, if there was more than one timeline, which there ain't, someone in this one woulda stopped Metallica from releasing Lulu.
Didn't turn out well in your timeline, huh? I guess when you've got a tempora-fascist infestation, your chonologically displaced arse gets stuck with the bad runs :V

Wuh oh, we got a chronocentrist up in here. Next you're going to be dropping slurs about time lords, aren't you baff?

Dude's already time traveling. He kills the grandparents of whoever makes the demand.

E: Also re: Redcap political symbol: It should totally be a pike stabbed through an american flag donkey and an elephant. If you're going to use the word you should use it to the hilt.

... 'course, a single reanimator is, while not quite the most useless thing in the game, pretty close to it. Especially if you have to give up your prophet's turns to be using it :P

Though reanimation isn't the worst thing you can do with an idling prophet. I mean, it's probably close with an idle stealth prophet, but still. You could just be waiting.

... though just waiting might be better, too, if the enemy has large amounts of banishers/other easy ways to mass kill undead. Pretty sure non-combat summoned ones still count for the HP rout trigger, in which case the prophet would just be making it easier to lose a fight :V

I don't even remember junior high.
I don't really remember middle school, either.

But that's mostly because I spent those three years averaging three hours of sleep a night. I don't remember those years very well, nevermind just the school hours :V

I'unno, if I were going to take a lion as a political symbol it'd be the lioness instead. The maned ones are honestly kinda' useless. Elephants and donkeys are both pretty good critters all around, but male lions are just sorta' lazy jackasses that barely even exist as sperm donors. Not the animal I'd choose.

And ninja'd once again. Bah.

... so are they going to go the whole way with that and dye their hats with the blood of people they murder, or...?

Can he, though? I can't recall if we ever see him eating anything that isn't honey. It may be his digestive system is incapable of processing anything else, and trying to wean off his addiction would be straight up suicide.

... which might make for something pretty amazing in regards to a plot, and if you're looking for complicated subject parallels it's right there alongside addictions you literally can't get rid of, and have to manage or die. Pooh's slow degeneration trying to stop, the terrors of trying to go to something else only for his body to rebel, the eventual breakdown as he gives in and binges for a period, the eventual drawback and assistance in finding a balance that both keeps him alive and keeps the pull of the honey from damaging his other activities... you could do some work with that.

Yes, yes, and it's scum like you that will be the first to go come the election. Default or death!

Just measured my pet snake. He's a little over two feet now. My babby danger noodle ain't such a baby anymore.  :D
... species? Used to (semi-)have a boa, m'self. Got up to a bit over six foot before the full owner did something stupid (insufficient heating :-\) and got it killed. Cute big ol' blighter, though.

Asphodel, Therodos (in theory, anyway :P), LA C'tis, probably Nazca (though iirc their reanimators are kinda' expensive) would be the major ones, near as I can tell. LA Argatha might be a less numerous contender.

Anything that has access to reanimating priests or an equivalent, really, or those few that have national undead summoning spells they can actually spam. Conceptually, anyone with death access (to at least D2 or so) can mass undead, it's just significantly more expensive for 'em gem-wise and notably less sustainable than those that have freespawn and/or reanimating priests.

As for sceleria, haven't played it terribly much, but from what I understand it's mostly just "Keep recruiting priests,* keep having them bring up longdead, bury everyone under a wave of corpses that eventually starts outproducing Ashen Ermor." Sprinkle with skelliespam assassins, gigantic communions, and something along the lines of great frothing hoards of astral artillery (1/4th of your grand thaums can mind hunt or VotD), and you've got most of sceleria's sceleria. Honestly, they're probably the game's least fiddly/most straightforward undead massing nation, it's just wrangling all those priests is something of a nuisance.

*Cultists if you're cash strapped/don't have a lab in the province, lesser thaumaturgs otherwise, indie priests everywhere you don't have forts and they can be recruited. Every H1 priest is another 3 longdead (more if you give them the reanimation amulet whatsit) per turn for as long as they live! Get lots. You probably want gold scales just to keep up with the priest recruitment.
