Oh, hello nostalgia. IIE is dead, long live the not-IIE.

... you seem to think all of his crazy ideas have no congressional support, heh. More than one (The wall, much of his immigration policies, a lot of the foreign belligerence, almost certainly more I'm forgetting) are pretty much bog standard republican policy points, just (at most) somewhat exaggerated. Assuming he actually got POTUS, he would have plenty of support to implement a lot of what he's suggesting. Probably watered down somewhat, but that still rumbles its way into more or less nightmare scenarios.

And I'm fairly sure many "serious" politicians -- the conservative ones, anyway, and probably a lot of the more corporate aligned democrat ones, too -- would be perfectly cheerful to have a "fool" as POTUS, ready to sign off on all sorts of crazy shit, heh. You don't have to take someone seriously to work with them, y'know?

Yeah, poe's is the one about arguments you can't tell apart from parody. Godwin's the nazis, Murphy's the worst case scenarios one (that one more or less predates the internet, though). Then there's sturgeon's (most stuff is crap, news at 11), which is actually a revelation but most people call it a law anyway. And more. Always more.

What does ignore even do?
Hides the ignored user's posts behind a button, kinda' like a passive spoiler feature. Providing javascript is on, anyway. If it's not, it just puts "You are ignoring this user." on the top of the post and continues as normal. Useful for shock image posts, folks you've heard enough from to realize there's no longer much of a point of listening to 'em, and so on.

Spoiler: Looks like this (click to show/hide)

I'm... fairly sure you can make a spell that kills the caster and summons a new unit, for what it's worth? Which would more or less let you pull off a transformation effect, though it'd probably lose some stuff (XP, paths, items maybe) in the process. The Eljudnir, Frost of the Nether Realm mod has one on an item (Soul gem, or something like that) -- you might check it out to see how they did it. I think you can also limit items to certain units, ala Ragha's shtick, if you only want certain units to be able to do it... less certain if you can limit spells to only certain casters, but going at it via items is a potential workaround.

Not even remotely a modder worth mention, though. Most I've done was a half-arsed gemless mod a few versions back.

... of course it isn't, since bankruptcy generally doesn't discharge student debt. It's possible, but the chances aren't exactly the best. Numbers I recall is that about 40% of bankruptcy seekers qualify, and at least part/one of the process(es) involved is more or less entirely at a judge's discretion. Hope you got a good lawye-- pfft, ahahaha, yeah, you've got student debt and are seeking bankruptcy, you can't afford a good lawyer.

12203
How about that there government support for people who got themselves into debt and can't pay it back?
... we have that, beyond bankruptcy?

Yeah, it's one eye per attack... so if something with two eyes attacks twice, they got no more eyes. Eyeloss is good stuff, aheh.

Does attacking seraph actually make unit blind?
Yup. No clue if there's a resistance check or not, but the mod inspector definitely says they've got eyeloss on attackers, so anything that has a go at the blighters in melee has at least a chance of losing eyes.

It's half the pyre (plus dom spread and +1 max dominion) for ~7.2k gold, no research, no gems investment, and no caster. That's not the most impressive thing in the world, but it's not exactly bad. More or less giving you a discount global that can only be dispelled piecemeal for something you'd be doing anyway.

The temples really are hella' expensive, though.

To a fair extent, yeah. Most of that one in particular is kinda' vanilla, from what I recall, but it's still a thing. Still faintly boggles me they invested that much effort in programing and design for a rance game, of all things.

Are there parodies out there with more depth and better writing then their subject matter?
I... hate to say it, but in a similar direction vis a vis gaming, Sengoku Rance is, imo, by and large a better game qua game than a lot of the ones it's flanderizing.

It's just, y'know, porn.

... speaking as someone who lives in rural america, that depends very heavily on who it is. There's plenty for whom that bimonthly 4 hours is cheerfully helping to fuck their ability to get things like, y'know, medical care, housing, etc., etc. Extreme poverty exists in the US, if in smaller amounts.

In any case, can y'all take this massive example of the perfect trying to cockblock the good somewhere else? Please?

... the latter. Most definitely the latter. My memory may be failing me, but from what I recall most containers of the stuff specifically warn against actually putting it in your eyes.
