Basically no, then :P

Good to know, though. And yeah, recruits and some summons, are about the only means I've noticed myself for "farming" items, with summons being considerably more reliable. There's a few one offs (elemental royalty or demon lords, ferex) that have seemingly unique items, too.

That I've noticed so far: Mound Kings (Minor summoning, necromancers) -- random basically anything, not guaranteed. Best variety, since the kings have full item slots, but the mound kings themselves are fairly rare, and there's no tell what, if anything, you get. Probably the easiest to get en masse, though, if you have the resources, and the lowest resource sink of the three I've noticed. Plus major summoning brings those mounted guys that can pump out four minor castings per turn, giving you a lot of chances to get a king. And major summoning itself to get those horsecritters is likely to give some really nice bodies to stick the kings junk on.

Demon lieutenants (similar name, demonologists) -- set items based on what you get. Frost/fire brands, demon whips, some kind of rod I forget what does. Most reliable -- the items are guaranteed -- but least variety.

Dragons (call dragon, trolls) -- random accessory slot, not guaranteed, but rather likely. Can't exactly mass them due to the silly expensive cost, but you can get some nice stuff.

No telling how many I've missed, heh.

Annnnd submitted. Team's pretender clarified as well.

Also, bulb, I think you just submit your fixed one. Most llamaserver things work like that, it'll usually automatically take whatever the newest submission is. Could definitely be wrong, but it's worth a shot. Also ninja'd, ah well.

... so. Folks that have played this more than me. Anyone know of a more direct/consistent non-loot means of getting items than summoning stuff (demon lieutenants, one of the necromancer spells I'm forgetting) and stealing their kit? Demonologists and necromancers are so far about the only ones I've found able to generate items, and with them it comes with... things... attached to the items. And are also a bit of a crap shoot as to what you're going to get (if anything).

It's not just "more" important, though...

Spell choice~

Also unit composition, terrain, other stuff beside... the player interaction itself in-battle may not exactly be there, but the difference between the last game and this one in terms of mechanics, how battles play out, etc., etc., is... pretty substantial.

It makes a helluva' difference from this player's perspective, heh.

E: In other news, I'm not entirely sure if it's something to do with medium sized maps or not, but I'm noticing the game seems rather inordinately fond of dropping the player in snowy areas, and/or ones that snow over in the winter. It's pretty thoroughly unpleasant. Double bonus points when you're something like dwarves and get dropped in the extreme north of the map. You basically can't fucking move :V

Don't even know what it is *thumbs up, shining smile*

... guessing youtube? Would be faintly surprised if there's actually a TV show by that title.

... probably less than that. Those are up there with hitler's stuff, by and large. Significantly more effective than caesar's doings. More due to diseases than anything, iirc, but... still.

The battles finally look like something I can stand, heh :P

Haven't got it, but probably will eventually (sale, limited funds, etc., etc.). Combat (mostly presentation, honestly) was probably the only thing really offputting for me with regards to the older CoEs. This one's good enough! Plus there's neat stuff and... stuff.

Hrm. You could flip for grumbling and one of the others, and then flip the winner of that against the third choice. Or hunt down a d3, I guess...

Flip a coin on whether you go with flipping a coin or the path of least resistance?

E: Nevermind, tested it myself. Nothing to see here, move along, move along.

... so has ceasar rose from the grave and wrangled a senate seat from the living, such that we actually have cause to care what he's like, or...?

Seriously though, like trump or lump 'im, the guy is now on record calling for literally nazi means of tracking an ethnic/religious minority. Whether that makes him (or whoever) like hitler or merely cribbing from the national socialist playbook is... somewhat irrelevant to the point that was being made. Folks ain't makin' shit up about him publicly declaring support for what was very much the step before, and part n'parcel to, armbands and camps. Up to th'reader how bad of a thing that is, but I'd say it's... pretty damning.

12313
E: What was here no longer has need to be here.

You might want to fact-check that arm-band bit before you bandy it around too. I mean, I don't like him, but that's no reason to lie about someone.
Mate, he's specifically on record for calling for a database for muslims in america, with a parallel towards nazi practices regarding the jews so direct his response to people asking him if he was aware of the similarity was "You tell me."

He ain't being lied about, in this case.

Not actually unprovoked, entirely. Above and beyond the (questionable, depending on how much trust you're willing to give a state actor with a consistent history of doing exactly what they're being accused of, heh*) airspace violations, turkey had apparently issued warnings they'd respond to attempts to further destabilize the area that the plane shot down had just bombed. Even ignoring the contradictory stories, the parallel of turkey responding to attacks against a related minority outside their border is... not unnoticed.

*Which, to be fair, is the best target to pull a spin on. Even if the plane didn't violate turkish airspace, saying they did is something a lot of people are going to buy specifically because russia has made something of a habit of doing just that.
