« on: October 29, 2015, 09:57:38 pm »If a method was invented that could allow for the uploading of your consciousness to a digital format and had been proven to work, but the process would result in the destruction of the organic brain as a consequence of getting all the required information, at what point, if ever would you take advantage of this technology?Pretty much as soon as it was sufficiently accessible I could get at it. Fuck human biology. Give me an out that guarantees something vaguely resembling me gets left behind and I'll take it, right here, right now.
I'd take brain in a machine pretty well, too, methinks. Whatever it takes to trade up from this goddamn flesh sack and its genetic fuckery.
