No, Obama is antichrist. Also gay, according to this site. And he's simultaneously a Muslim and a godless megalomaniac. That must be difficult.
Nah, being the antichrist comes with some neat powers. I've heard it stated by a published (if entirely unnotable) bible scholar that the antichrist is both Islam (as in, the whole thing) and a currently-living iranian. Doing some extra time as gay Obama, Muslim Obama, and godless megalomaniac Obama shouldn't be much of an extra burden. They just tag out for different hours of the day.

How does it feel to know you are the latest and last prophet,* maniac?

*At least until they get another one. There's been a lot of last prophets, and will be a lot more :V

Prophethood is a lot like the Final Fantasy franchise, really.

E: Though it's pretty understandable why they go with the truncated title of Last True Voice of God, instead of the full one. Last True Voice of God Until Next Tuesday doesn't sound nearly as ostentatious.

and then I whack the snooze button ~5-6 times before becoming aware the alarm is ringing.
The answer to this is a louder and more strident alarm with no snooze button. If things get really bad, you put it in a box with a combination lock and speakers running out of it, or something along those lines. One set to bring the computer out of sleep while requiring a password to get to isn't that hard to do, ferex.

If you make your alarm ignorable and easy to turn off, you have naught but yourself to blame when it doesn't work :P

One of the other fun things I'd do when I was on a raised bed (bunkbed with the bottom bunk missing, basically), was run a particularly long-wired set of headphones to the computer below, which was set with a massively loud alarm (that, again, was on the floor, behind a password). It only takes so many times of waking up to hearing damage and probably slamming your head into the ceiling/walls/etc. in shock before your body gets the message :V

How to speak dragon: First, set everything around you on fire. Then, violently step on everything that isn't burnt. Finally, eat everything no longer able to run away fast enough.

Congratulations! You now know how to speak fluent dragon. Body language is a big thing for the draconic. Remember that.

... not sure if this is drive by spam or not, but for what it's worth, we did have a ToMENet thread a ways back. It's, uh. Well, it's kinda' dead for a reason. Gets mentioned every once in a long while, but eh. Never been terrible much interest, so far as I've noticed.

The right wing political people have been diverging from the Catholic church (and reality) for a long time.
Pretty much. Even a lot of the US catholics don't agree the Pope has any authority, nevermind the protestant majority, many of which outright think the guy's the antichrist and/or devil.

Nice-ish to see the guy continuing to talk about as well as you could expect out of 'em, though, I guess. Fellow's views are about as catholic as soiling yourself in a confessional (bonus point get: crude old people joke) but at least he gives lip service to some of the better parts of it instead of primarily the backassward bits. It's something.

What kind of wizard are you and how can I acquire this power?
Keep to an actually consistent sleep cycle for a few months and you'll probably find yourself doing the same thing. I do use an alarm clock, but when things are actually on schedule for an extended period it becomes very much common to wake up a bit before the alarm goes off... even if it's not on :V

Snooze, though... I've never used snooze. Seems to defeat the purpose. If I want to give myself room to go back to sleep, I just set multiple alarms, each one sequentially louder and more shrill than the last. Back in college it was phone on vibrate, then on sound, then the computer came on at "Fuck the Neighbors" volume. Never actually reached the second stage, heh. Knowing you have to get up to turn off the loud alarms lest someone punches the shit out of you for having noise music start to blare at five in the morning is a helluva incentive to get up and moving.

Silly, though. You giant lot do have sailing scouts. They just have a very giantish conceptualization of "scout". Not so much sneaking as stomping. Reconnaissance in force, to use the fancy words their air-starved brains don't quite comprehend :V

... has he already given the congress talk thing? Is that what it was about?

E: To be a bit more clear, I honestly expect the pope to treat that with more care than something like a third to a half (at minimum) of the republican party does. If he's actually gone off on some sort of smash the barrier tirade, it'd be a little surprising.

I'm not sure they can even if they had paths. The shapeshift form is undisciplined... never really paid attention to if that effects things or not. Can check real quick, though.

... and yeah, they can still cast. Guess undisciplined doesn't matter for commanders. Lose some paths (looks like a flat -1 to everything, maybe?), lose the flame shield on the one, but they've still got 2N and H1 at a minimum, so they can self-bless. Still probably couldn't win a punch-up with half the things on this map, but yeah, they can cast in bear form.

E: Aww, harsh. Prophetizing them in bear form doesn't give H3, so no divine blessing bears. Shame. Self-bless and holy avenger, though, which is... okay. I guess. Things would make pretty bad thugs, about the only use for bear form would be if they're up against heavy evocations and need some extra health bad enough losing the path access is worth it.

No, no baug. What you were looking for is "Gaping wider than santorum's namesake." Gotta' keep it topical.

Chip chip assuming you mean a very thin potato wedge like in America.
Aye, that'd do it.

Then it would have been proven that everyone else had an even more crippling fear of success :P

Though honestly, hobina looks a lot more like it's actually caelian's that are the second class citizens. Presumably they aren't trusted to transmit vital information back to the rulers. For all its everything is basically tissue paper on this map, it's fairly metal that they're basically ruled by a coven of magically powerful bears. Bearocracy is pretty hardcore.

Lil' weird they can't summon bears, though, now that I think about it. Maybe the harbringers are worried about competition? Part time bears would probably have trouble holding ground with real ones. Explains why everything is screwed up with 'em, they don't have properly beary leadership, just a pale shapeshifting imitation.

In other news, while typing that, I have apparently convinced myself that a bear-themed nation is a good idea. Hrm.
