... except abilitate either doesn't work or isn't used. It's... not a word. Seriously, go definition hunting, the thing's not showing up. Conceptually it should follow like that, but it doesn't. Maybe it's archaic as all hell? I'unno.

12947
... the only what? As... as near as I can tell, abilitated isn't english. So... not entirely sure what you're trying to say.

... no, that's probably one of the worst ways to measure work burnout. A lot of people don't realize that's actually what's going on, more would not admit it, and still more would not admit it over the phone. So on and so forth.

Surveys/interviews can definitely be part of the means of assessment, but as things go it's often a pretty terrible way to track stuff like this, especially if you're just asking them if they feel burnt out. Humans are often quite bad at self-identifying problems and worse at reporting or acknowledging them to other people. Would be even more so in fields where work burnout is likely, since the people in them are under significant pressure and generally have a great deal of incentive (not the least of which is continuing to function at-least-minimally while burnt out, which can be the difference between, y'know, being able to eat or not) to not admit the issue exists to anyone, even -- especially, often enough -- themselves.

E: And the fun thing is, just as under reporting is a significant problem, so is over reporting by people primed by the question to respond in ways that give false positives. So your calling and asking is very much likely to throw out all sorts of bad data. You really want to rely primarily on statistics and behavior tracking for something like this, not direct interviewing. The latter can get really bloody unreliable on certain subjects.

No... no, apparently some people eat them. Just... usually not human ones.

Every season is spring in regards to human intimacy, tack. There's no escape.

?? we're one of the most abundant animals on the planet, and certainly one of the most widespread

this basically makes us one of the least inbred animals on the planet, along with... i guess most rodents
No, not really. We're a lot closer to each other genetically than quite a few other species, last I checked. Population =/= breadth of gene pool, i.e. degree of inbreeding. You're going to be relatively inbred regardless of how numerous or widespread your kin are if you had a bottleneck close enough in the genetic history. And we did.

There's certainly other species that are less well off, yes, but s'far as I'm aware both those 'uns and us 'uns are the abnormalities.

Really, you'd just want to look through the folks that ran this. Couple of centuries of producing real life supervillians, that company managed. Nation(s) would be britain and associated colonies and whatnot, from the 1600s through the 1800s. Or just use the company itself as an example -- it's significantly easier to find organizations that count collectively as a supervillain than individuals.

... PG, did you really just say that active genocide was the better course of action than either inactive genocide or, y'know, stopping it from happening? It would have pissed off georgia and maybe distabilized the union, so killing thousands, overseeing one of the greater atrocities in american history was... okay? Somehow excusable? 'Cause it kinda' read like that, and if that wasn't the intent, maybe make it a little more clear that nothing you were saying in any way paints jackson in a better light.

Regardless, the cause for it is pretty irrelevant. Jackson being a racist or not is a complete non-issue. The fact of the matter is that he aided in what he aided, and that is pretty impeccably abhorrent.

Why is "Kidz Bop" even a thing? It's just covers of popular songs done with stupid sound replacements and children singing. Do little kids actually like that better or is it just something to convince parents that they need?
Yes. Both. Though I think it may not be better so much as just as well. Also OW's point, I suppose.

My GCSE in Business Studies fundamental common sense tells me that that is a terrible strategy that is questionably effective and definitely unsustainable.
ftfy
It's notably ineffective and entirely unsustainable. This is why it makes sense to people that complain about productivity and then bugger off to vacation.

No, it means you fire the current staff, and hire more desperate people who will kill themselves to outperform their predecessors while probably being paid less. It's like thinking with portals, except instead of portals it's the crushed souls and flesh of the underclass.

You might want to take a gander at the AAR stuff from 4.04, which I think was the only first disciple game B12's ran so far? Among other things, it looks like the PM dump from the victor team is still up and running, if you're interested in an inside glimpse of what a disciple game can involve :3

E: Fixed :V

Unless it cost you two paid meals to get, or something else along those lines. Plenty of room to complain when you get free meals, ha.

Eehhh, unless things get interesting after I stopped reading (part way through the second chapter, shortly after the little sister finished doing salacious things with her brother's shirt and then doing the whole by-the-numbers tsundere abuse thing to him for walking in), it's really kinda' boring. Main conceit is the sister possessing a cat, after which the author uses the whole feline erogenous zone thing to play up the fanservice angle. Which is something that comes up with relatively regularity when feline shapeshifter equivalents (which this is) are involved. Nothing new, basic diddly-bit hiding stuff, standard incest/pedo baiting. Like said, boring.
