Could be a long play. Waiting until that wariness goes away, then *whump* hammer across all the skulls. Person and behavior is separate because T's knocked off your skull and the body's still flailing around.

Had I plaster and a mailing address, I'd send hugs, too. As it is, metaphorical hugs and best wishes and whatnot.

One of these days I'm going to have the time, resources, and possibly a psychotic break, and start up a business that sells (possibly customized) arm molds to people, so they can mail hugs to loved ones and random strangers.

Heh. Actually, of the ones called powerful/strong in their descriptions, oceania is still the only one that doesn't have recruitable H3s, at least in the base game. There's just several that have summonable ones on top of that :V

... there's only two nations labeled as powerful/strong that don't have H3 priests... and they share the same H2 unit (Which is recruit-anywhere and a pretty decent caster with built in awe on the side of being H2, but aquatic). Both Oceania. I just checked via mod inspector, heh.

So, uh. It's almost always because they have H3 priests, ha.

No clue why oceania is labeled as a powerful priest nation, though. Their priest is actually pretty iffy, decent casting paths aside. Rest of 'em is pretty consistent in what's causing it (access to at least an H3 capital commander -- several also have summons or, in the case of Abysia, H3 recruit-anywhere).

And @Ro, Toady almost always gives several mutes/warnings before bans happen. Lsp got hit with those before now, and what resulted in his ban was actions immediately following an in-thread warning to tone things back. Toady only occasionally does the god-from-on-high insta-smite thing.

Really, it's... not actually that hard to present a dissenting opinion, or have things get heated/impassioned. You mostly just need to avoid attacking other posters (part of which is to avoid engaging with other posters that attack you, by the by -- saying your peace and then dropping the conversation is occasionally a thing you need to do) or going straight to the overt bigotry.

And it seems more that she's leaving 'cause a friend (forcibly) is. If an OP's going, it's definitely the right thing to do to lock the thread, doubly so for a high volume one. One of the major contributing factors to megathreads staying up is the thread creator keeping an eye on things.

And yeah, KosS, apparently something got deleted. And @LW, Good Vibes thread... but at least let things sit for a day or two, yeah. Modicum of respect for the wishes of th'last creator.
