There is a belgium embassy in the netherlands, though, for what that's worth. Looks like it's in the hague.

... also, is the name of the hague actually The Hague? Really? Maybe it's a translation thing, makes more sense in the native language?

... maybe belgium has a netherlands embassy? Those are usually technically part of the sovereign state they represent, and I think sometimes people live in them. So assuming there is an embassy in the country, you could live in the tiny speck of belgium that's inside the netherlands. Conceptually. I doubt you do, but.

... no? Not that I can recall, anyway. Her social issues aren't really downplayed all that much, she just, you know, develops as a character.

Perhaps consider actually reading the material instead of inventing some strange fantasy about it.

And also no, JFH. MC's pseudo-infatuation with the character in question has to do with a different aspect of her character, not how she verbally manhandles people (though it is part of the reason why she verbally manhandles people).

Yeah, pretty much. Some are pretty damn amazing, too -- that trio in the earlier bits was great. It slows down a little, iirc, but it doesn't exactly stop. Best thing I can say about it is that it's pretty evenhanded as to what sort of cake it offers! I can always appreciate that, even if I fairly strongly lean towards cheese.

E: Though for what it's worth, neo, unless the anime changes things and/or my memory's shot, there's not really a "redemption arc" for mamzel love interest. More of a gradual reveal/character growth thing.

... dunno how far Neo is into it, but now that I know that food wars is Shokugeki no Soma (food porn all day erry day, get embraced by the duck you overendowed cow), I can say there's more going on with blondie than is immediately obvious. She's definitely tsundere, and not as heartless and uncaring as her immediate presentation would have you believe. Plus there's reasons behind her being (more than a bit of) a jackass, iirc.

Also, if there's an anime and you're not reading the manga, drop the anime like it's hot and go read the manga.

As far as I know, it's weird inasmuch as it doesn't exist. It's somewhat questionable if it's even actually derived from cartoon, really. I mean, you'd think it is, but near as I've been able to tell there's not really much evidence for that except it being reasonable.

Is just something that caught on in one of the earlier MMOs (to the person(s) that posited WoW or Toontown, the use of 'toon as reference to a character predates either fairly substantially, iirc) and stuck around.

Regardless, ask over at the nethack thread. You're a lot more likely to get solid answers there.

For what it's worth, from what I understand it doesn't really take all that long to win a game of nethack, if you know what you're doing. Getting to the point you know what you're doing may take some time, though. E: As should be kind of obvious by the noted thread's poll :V
