The rub is I don't have a gaming youtuber's facial hair, nor am I middle-eastern.

E: Which the edit snuck in. A'ight.

... got asked if I was a taliban today. Non-jokingly. Welp.

Guy's more or less exact words: "The last time I saw someone with hair like yours, they were shooting at me."

... man, wuxia manga, why are you doing... what you're doing. You're amusing, but every time I see the main heroine all I can think is "Toot toot here comes the incest train *chugachugachugachugachuga*"

This... Doupo Cangqiong thing. It's occasionally amusing. Can't really recommend it :V

Xun critter, maybe this brother fixation is not the best idea. Main character guy, please stop declaring your intent to screw your sister. You've got a harem chasing after you. Go for one of them, instead ;_;

Look into your heart, Bauglir, and know it to be true: All things are projectiles. All things may be thrown. All things must be thrown. This is truth. This is enlightenment. Reach out into the world and throw it at something.

Maybe instead of punch, throw small animals? Cats make for amazingly distracting projectiles.

Clearly you must booby trap the mown lawn, such that every time the dog walks on it, the animal is catapulted off into the open ground.

Please record any and all tests and successful activations.

Don't libraries send a ton of books to get recycled? They're not a good option if you want to avoid that.
Recycled, trashed, burnt... yeah, more or less. Extra copies of books already in the system, stuff that hasn't been touched for years, occasionally material that's a bit excessive for public purview -- libraries only have a certain amount of space, a certain amount of funds to be dedicated towards maintaining old books, and they're kinda' working under a mandate to provide for their public. Stuff has to be cycled out pretty regularly.

Mind you, they're still one of the better places to keep at least a copy of a text around (if not necessarily the copy you donate) -- not many other options exist that have the same degree of expertise and facilities for keeping texts around, and at least in my experience most libraries really try to keep as many texts as they can, there's just pretty hard limits to what that "can" is.

Basically, they're not exactly a good option, they're just one of the least bad ones.

Yeah... if only we had those, and they had funding and space.

S'kinda' sad, really. I've helped out at the local library* a bit, off and on, and we've had times where the shelves were so packed you could pull out one book and bring the rest of the row with it, and that's with stuff put on top of the books, sideways, too. And the sorting thingy filled. And overflow boxes. And stuff just kinda' laying around. And excess stuff regularly being shipped over to nearby (somewhat larger) libraries (who also don't have space :V).

... my old/spare books are in the barn, right now. Would have to travel a few hours to find a library that has space on the shelves :-\

Incidentally, if you don't want old library books to get thrown out, I'd recommend checking them out somewhat regularly. The culling tends to start with stuff that hasn't been borrowed in years.

*E: Being fair, said library is... smaller than the house I'm living in right now, and most other buildings in the (rural, two caution light) town. Not a large building, not much in terms of resources, etc.

Modern HDs experience corruption pretty slowly, but if you're obsessed with ensuring data integrity you're going to need to copy your files over themselves every few years - something I'm reasonably certain doesn't happen on most web servers.
Uh. Actually, last I checked, regular backups and backup replacements are... fairly standard? Hell, the high school I went to managed that much, and that was a good decade or so ago. Not often done specifically to prevent what you're talking about, but it's still an at-least somewhat common practice, so far as I'm aware. It's just good server maintenance practice.

Though, uh. Do please spoiler spider pictures, and maybe give a warning. We do have a few arachnophobes on the forum.

(Excellent execution however, 9/10 would be insulted again)
Is that even an insult, though? The size implication seems to be that your dick is huge. Image barely fits on my 16" wide screen, even after zoom is brought back to baseline.

Proper insult would have used a very small image, yeah. That one was more like a backhanded complement.

E: And looking at it again, the accompanying pic even supports that. The light blush, the satisfied look, that fisherman's gesture (THIS BIG). Insult, that is not.

... incidentally, where'd that second one come from?

... doritos ;_;

Doritos make frumple sad. I used to freaking love those things -- and I still really like the taste -- but at some point over the years either their recipe changed or my stomach did, and now eating more than one or two at a time (as in, per day) makes me pretty sick, at least the cheese ones. Ranch innit as bad. Mostly just the cheese ones.

Offbrand cheese tortilla stuff is usually fine, though. Golden Flake started putting out some recently-ish that are bloody delicious (to me), and most of the cheapo ones are pretty alright, too. S'just something the dorito brand started doing some years back. Kinda' wish I knew what, so it could be avoided easier in other stuff...

... also EB, I'm not sure what kind of doritos you've been eating, or what you've been doing to them, but... they're not really soft or porous. Not supposed to be, anyway. Not unless you soak them in something for a fair bit of time or let them go really stale.
