I think it's only in japan or somethin'. Probably other places, too, though -- it's relatively standard thing in regards to the occult. Not necessarily reaching 30 specifically, but abstinence in general comes up with something approaching regularity.

There's a lot of really odd things out there about seminal control and suchlike, really.

Well, if it means anything, there's been at least a hundred and eighty other mass shootings this year, so far. Plenty of white folks to choose from in that mess. 'Course, this one'll get more news than most of those, but *shrugs*

I'm afraid that one slid right in there, LSp. No force was needed.

And maybe, v. Just think with your backside for a bit, it might clear things up.

... the implicit innuendo in that picture is amazing. Thank you, GC.

Timing! Storm coming in. Was asking increasingly skittish dogs in ham voice if they were hiding from the SOUND AND FUROR. Right on cue, thunder peals out.

Thank you, based random confluence of meteorological events. Your dramatic timing was spot on :D

There are reasons most day traders lose money in the long run.
From what I recall, the major one is because even the best of stock traders are apparently only marginally more effective than an RNG. People are pretty incredibly bad at the whole investment thing, it seems :V

Wish I could remember where I saw that study/article thing. It was a good few years back, and entirely hilarious.

Minor warning about chaos gate -- it apparent has pretty serious technical issues, especially on newer computers. "People can't get it to run regardless of what they do" type issues. Presumably GOG has fixed that, but you might want to check/wait for reviews, etc., to make sure before you get it, if you're interested in playing.

Which I heard comes recommended, as posts made while I was typing seem to support, ha. It's supposed to be pretty decent, if a little clumsy, if you can get it to work.

Final Liberation's pretty neat, too. Kinda' slow, but neat. It's the only one of the three I've actually played, heh. Basically a turn based tactical game... if I had to draw parallels to another game, it would probably be to Spellcross, which is amazing.

As for Shadows of the Horned Rat... the games they're closest to is the Myth (Fallen Lords, Soulblighter, Wolf Age) series, which came a little later, if you're looking for something a bit more recent along the same lines of gameplay.

Can get =/= have, isp :V

1/70th isn't the best of chances, and it kinda' helps to have more water before that 10th angler quest, too.

... the trick to laying rail is to lay rail while riding it, if you haven't noticed already. Smart-select or whatever that default-control-key mode is is the trick. Track ends up pretty wobbly lookin', but it works.

To be fair, I was on a small world, but going from spawn to the western ocean probably took... ten, fifteen minutes? Fall off a lot, but that's what your hook's for.

Also weird that you'd say that, etg -- I've had the pump liquid duplication work just fine with the outlet set on top of a platform, with nothing to slide off in the way.

Yeah, it's been working just fine for me. Faster than any other method I can be arsed to figure out, even.

Think the trick is to just use multiple pumps, if you want to speed things up a bit.

This is why we use the word "almost" in front of all :V

Though I guess I am occasionally curious about churchgoers' attitudes towards church corruption. From what I understand the religious circuit is pretty close to one of the largest fraud/corruption/etc. sectors in the world, with pretty sizable amounts of money basically disappearing, on top of everything that doesn't get reported (which is posited to be pretty substantial in and of itself, heh), yearly. Which is fairly understandable -- a church is pretty close to a confidence artist's wet dream, heh. Understand many churches have council type things or member participation in decision making and suchlike to attempt to curtail that, but, uh. I've seen that in action in a few different churches and ahahahahaha. Yeah, not so much.

Anyone have notable experience with how congregations manage that stuff? What sort of balance gets struck between the trust generally needed to be given to the clergy and the fact that, well. A fair number of them are pretty crooked?

Heh. You were close -- the only thing I've noticed that does that so far is mimics, specifically the hallowed version (and presumably the corrupted, too). If there's anything else that just flat ports on top of you, I haven't noticed, but those definitely do.
