Is that thing a...pet? Baby? I can't tell if it's being offered as a gift or what  ???
I think the proper answer to that is "Yes."

Clearly it went on a squid run with your refrigerator.

get your act together you standardizing seven-pin connectors
Correct. Comic Sans is the "I want to start a font war" font.

So deep under cover the blanket has become the sky. That's why he's running for president, so a space program can be funded to see what's on the other side.

We've apparently done that with monkeys, too. Turns out three heads actually are better than one when it comes to running (simulated, iirc) cybernetic arms.

Other Games / Re: Terraria - 1.3 released. Big Patch!
« on: July 11, 2015, 05:34:17 am »
Dunno about for Terraria specifically (check the wiki, though, it might have something), but 2d tessellation designs in general should be pretty easy to adapt. It doesn't really take that much to make a working room in this game, so you're pretty free the make the shape about as wonky as you please.

The only rub is you're probably going to want a one-off workroom, somewhere. Logistics of crafting become much simpler when you can stick everything in a single room, heh. You can always alternatively make the every room buggeroff huge and just have all your crafting tables set up on platforms hanging in the middle of the room or somethin'. When in doubt, upsize. There's a minimum size requirement on rooms, but insofar as I'm aware there's no maximum :V

WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE?!
... a good idea? Chicken on pizza is already tasty, might as well make make it pizza on chicken. I'll admit, the thought of wrapping a pizza in fried chicken skin is highly appealing to me. Mostly because wrapping just about anything edible in fried chicken skin is highly appealing to me. Not actually that fond of fried chicken in itself (is usually too moist for my tastes in chicken, also bones fuck bones), but the skin is amazing ;_;

I'm amused they're wondering why KFC is outperforming pizza hut or taco bell, though. Hut's expensive as fuck (for the demographics they're aiming for, anyway), taco bell is basically memetic in its lack of quality. KFC's way too greasy, but it's still got something of a good name, mostly.

General Discussion / Re: I like anime, do you like anime?

I'unno, Goku seems to be doing pretty good for a saiyan parent, especially considering his own (lack of) upbringing. He hasn't intentionally used his children as interplanetary planet-depopulators, which is like an automatic step up for his species.

There's also huge swaths of the timeline we kinda' don't see, so maybe he does better behind the scenes? *shrugs* His kids seem to be doing pretty alright, all things considered, so apparently something's going something approaching alright.

E: Though now I'm half wondering how crossbreeds happened to begin with. All things considered, I think I'm just going to file that one under "A dragon did it". And maybe waggle my eyebrows a little at the implied cuckoldry.

... uh. EH? I'm not sure if you realized it, but they're not talking about DBZ.

Four person debate, Trump and three impeccable body doubles agreeing with him. Could the world handle that much concentrated overpriced bad hair in one place? I think the american public deserves to find out!

Didn't they already try that? And find that it was an unmitigated failure? I'm sure this time it will work for them...
I'm not entirely sure it counts as an unmitigated failure, exactly, when the highest offices of our legislative branch are... what was it, something like 98% christian? Which is about 23% better representation than the actual population :V

And that's not getting into the record for the executive (Every single POTUS) or judicial branches (we've had some jews there, at least, and one maybe agnostic). One of these days I'll figure out how the religious right in the US figures they're losing traction in government when christianity has an excessive stranglehold over political positions already, and doesn't actually seem to be losing it, even in the face of it being massively disproportionate to the country's actual demographics.

... seems like maybe more of a thing for the USpol thread than here, though.

When it doubt, remember that georgia is the sarcasm font. It's helpful for when ambiguity is undesirable.

No, no, removing EU would be coming to an agreement, and presumably most everyone with access to grecian TV now has a vested interesting in making sure that never happens :V

This is one of those dangerous situations that comes off as a bit ridiculous and funny if you think about it; an island full of Russian, British, Turkish, Cypriot and EU soldiers, spies and shills.
It would have the best red lights district in the entire world.

That seems like reason enough to go through with it. It gets my vote.
