second, central heating systems are god, why are they not more common
Primarily because they're expensive, and there's a lot of areas that can just get by with space heating and fans, if that. The (distant) secondary and growing reason is because they're fairly rough on the environment. I've off and on heard estimates that central heating -- air conditioning in general -- may be untenable pretty much anywhere within the century, just due to the pollutant aspect.

Which'd be rough. The elderly would have to abandon the equatorial areas, heh. Probably young children, too... it's the old and very young that semi-extreme temperatures/exposure take the greatest toll on, fatality wise.

You don't climb the mountain to better yourself, or for the accomplishment, or the accolades. You climb the mountain because it's there.

So, are the Celestial Monoliths just decoration?
Nah. Well, sorta' nah. Right click on 'em, I think (I haven't actually tried 'em after checking the wiki to see what they do and saying Nope to the FPS destroying prettification), and then pay attention to the background. I mean, they're still sorta' just decorations, but they're pretty hefty as decorations go.

Wouldn't your hands get tired, though? And keeping up an erection for that long must be hard (no pun intended) as well.
Not just hard, but as every performance enhancer advertised on TV will tell you, also a fairly significant health risk. Think it's generally more than three or four hours they recommend seeking immediate medical aid. Then there's friction. People have been pretty seriously injured under similar circumstances.

As for the hands, I'd rather imagine that you just go for automation, assuming that counts, if you're really aiming for a record. Smooths out a lot of the physical effort involved.

Did. Also converted the other three into a single stardust one and ran around my chests clicking quick stack to chests, which is what I do now when I can't find my main storage for something and have a spare in my inventory. Nothin'.

... apparently managed to lose all my stardust fragments. Maybe trashed 'em, forgot to pick them up, I'unno. Don't want to just hack more in, so I guess I get to fight Dongeye Dentatahand again. Yay. *grumbles*

Ohai dere moon lord!

... you're the most freudian thing in this whole game, aren't you? Eeeyyuuup.

Seriously, I'm looking at this thing and just going, "This is someone's parental issues done as an animated sprite, isn't it?" Because that's what it looks like. Psychoanalysis Squidhead, the Final Boss.

E: And when you finally kill it, eyedicks wailing on you and toothy nethers maws failing about, it moans and fades away. Goddamnit terraria. This is not how you capstone a game, unless it's also fetish porn. Which I guess it may be, now!

it's practically demanding a razorblade just to kill it

or maybe chlorophyte but i ain't no ranger nor do i have a gun that can reliably shoot chloroes.
Yeeaaah, I just froze my HP at 500, pointed the possessed axe up, and waited :V

Well, that, double tiki minions (at least until the bewitching table buff wore off), and the plantera expert item. Still basically forever :-\

Tried to hit it a bit with the sword the things drop, but the lag made that pretty much impossible, heh. I do believe someone had mentioned a bunker that did look like it might work -- not much appeared to be wall piercing (though it was hard to tell, because it was like watching a freaking stop motion film), so that might be fairly safe, I'unno.

Things that can't be done: Survive the Madness without cheating when its arrival drops your FPS to a max of 2.

... thank you, based cheat engine. And terraria itself, for making the current HP be a steady 4 byte address :V

Also, why in the name of zeus does so many freaking saucers show up!? I think I killed like goddamn eight or nine before the bloody thing finally ended. It was sincerely irritating ;_;

I know what they are. I was wondering how they could possibly assist in killing a nigh-invincible superboss who floats. :P
Presumably by going very fast, possibly while zig-zagging. If it's within an ~45 degree angle, the minecart be faster and more agile than just about anything else in the game.

Also lasers, if you're using the supercart.

Also didn't write the scripture, so it's kinda' irrelevant whether the metaphorical critter did or didn't :V

It means to put ice in the glass before you put the soda in the glass.

Ostensibly, it's to keep the glass from running over from soda displaced by ice. In practice, you really shouldn't be drinking enough soda that a couple ice cubes is going to cause it to run over.

Also yeah, C, your parents are both entirely abusive and frankly insane. Overreaction, indeed.

It's heading toward the religion thread! Chase after it!
