Well, this is interesting. Swiss have jacked a truckload of high up sports muckity-mucks and are (in the process of?) throwing them to the US to get hit with a book (and apparently some of the euro countries are getting in on the game, too). Apparently FIFA is incredibly corrupt and finally getting caught at it? I don't pay even the most remote of attention to sports, so I had no idea at all (though surprised, I am not), but here it is. And it seems like there's going to be a lot of money involved in the shenanigans related to this.

Probably talking about Pataki, which is two parts ignorance and one part mispronunciation from being Takei. Takei's unfortunately both too old and probably too smart to run for president. I'd be pretty willing to toss the guy a vote, though.

Context being the (mostly) right wing crazies that see government as absolutely nothing but a vehicle of tyranny and harp about it constantly. Basically saying that you shouldn't listen to people who's connection with reality is tenuous at best, and maybe listen to people who actually have something of a fully nuanced view of the situation.

Cameron's context is... well, it's exactly what it looks like. There's no ostensibly faintly reasonable spin, there.
