I cannot imagine how that screening process, especially in a case with this much cultural presence, doesn't predispose the jury toward a guilty verdict. And that's a hell of a problem.
They (the folks that pass the screening in question) are statistically more likely to convict, to the best of my knowledge, yes. Insofar as the numbers go, the juries in question do appear to be predisposed towards a guilty verdict. Now, whether that's due to the people involved or the cases involved is a different question, but...

There are, but "foremost" and "most" are two different words. While oreimo isn't the most otaku-bait fetish series in the world (not by a ruddy long shot), it's definitely one of the best known and best representative thereof. One of the foremost of its kind, yeh.

Dunno if it's been mentioned already, but if so, have another. BB King died yesterday, noticed today. Passed at 89. RIP, bluesman.

And if they were Gutes they'd also be speaking backwards. ;)
And here we see the appearance of the rare and previously presumed mythical grammar viking nazi. Go back to the fogs of nonexistence, grammar viking nazi.

Insofar as major party policy and voting patterns go, yeah. I think the actual people on the ground have a bit more give, as things go, but the difference between our politicians is... well, it's notable. Very notable, in many arenas. But our major "liberal" politicians are what you'd usually consider centrist at most in countries with an actual left-wing worth note, and you still often have significant portions of the ostensibly left politicians voting conservatively, even if their stated policy or rhetoric would suggest they'd be doing otherwise. It can be hard to tell a conservative from a liberal on many subjects, sometimes. They just come off as being more or less extreme versions of the same sort of critter.

Actually looking, back, at the recent, thread, of conversation, I think he's, making a grammar, nazi joke.
Y'know, what we really need is grammar vikings.

I will rend your entrails from their mount and feast a murder of crows upon your decaying corpse for that grammatical abomination, milk drinker.

Mm. There's a 3.1 on sourceforge that I noticed, from what appeared to be about a year earlier. Looks like 3.2.1 on git, too, and I'd be incredibly surprised if github of all things was flagged as malicious...

...still more updated than what I have. >_<

Oh well, I wasn't really going to do much with it anyway. I wonder why it was flagged as malicious. Probably trolls; that has been a problem before.
Ehn. If you want, I could probably upload it somewhere else. Thing's only like 30 megs...

Argument actually seems to be that since some moderately affluent foreign nations that are closer to the source nation are shitting on refugees, so should the EU. "I think we should act no better than the worst actor involved" is a helluva' humanitarian position.

... I like the way you think, EB. When all else fails, poison it until it complies. Words to live by.
