... yeah, most of the terrible stuff about naruto I just chalk up to kishi being a kinda' terrible writer, personally.

No... well, if I'm understanding you. What I mean is the korean web-comic type thing that's been started up recently for LMS is pretty nicely done, at least for what I've seen so far (which is like the first 2, of 12, chapters). Not talking about any LN illustrations or whatev'. Zero clue if there's any official translations for it.

Unless that's what you're talking about, in which case I didn't even know there were plain text translations for the thing. I... I'm not even sure why you'd read that, since the actual LN is entirely text and why not just go read that instead and... anyway.

Huh. The art and whatnot for the Legendary Moonlight Sculptor manwha-thing is better than I was expecting it to be. Neat.

I seriously doubt your suggesting that the government should buy ValveThesda* in order to subsidize modders, so what's your point?
They... wouldn't need to? The metaphorical price of the bench has already been included, this whole time, in the cost of the game.

Its not boring.  My best friend told me she wants to have her corpse stolen, cremated, and then her ashes baked into food for her enemies.
And I'm suddenly morbidly curious what sort of taste effect using human charcoal has. I know different kinds of wood have fairly significant effects on taste, but what sort of influence does using meat charcoal have?

... what happens when you cook steak using steak? I'm guessing nothing good since I haven't heard of it before, but...

No... looking at it, it's mostly because the funeral homes are price gouging like goddamn. Goddamn goddamn. This is italics and bold level cost hikes going on here. And at a cursory glance it looks like a lot of it's being handed to them by legal regulations, with a fair amount of the rest being frankly predatory behavior on the part of the funeral services. Knew there was some kinda' shifty stuff going on there, but I hadn't quite realized the extent of it...

*waggles hand* A lot can get you to that point, heh. Flame alone can cover most of the west without much trouble -- most low CD bolt/beams can. The tentacles'll certainly help with a ranged build, though.

If you want something better while still playing an archery character, you might consider a warden. Those hounds are freaking glorious.

Funerals are freaking expensive, man. You can probably afford to fly off wherever and die there, then have the rest of it taken care of on site and still save (your relatives) money. Maybe bring yourself along some concrete, have a little monument set up before the people taking care of it head off. Can be someone else's problem regarding what to do with a steel coffin embedded in stone out in the countryside.

As for the legal thing. I'm not saying it would probably still be cheaper to bribe some folks to do it on the side, but...

... well, I'm pretty sure there's folks out there that would take a couple hundred from you to stick your body in an iron sarcophagus and weld it shut. And that'd still be a lot less expensive than the funeral services, to all appearances.

Also good gods, looking at some of the laws surrounding this those funeral folks really have made a faintly disgusting degree of legislated monetary killing, haven't they? I'd ask how the hell they've gotten away with it, but it's actually kinda' self evident (no one wants to talk about the subject), so eh.

Eehh... they're useful for quite a while, but the use falls off pretty sharply later in the game. After a point, things can either one-shot them (which mostly wastes the turn calling them in), jump over them, or just blow you up despite them being there. About as useful as any summon is, in the early to mid game, though.

True enough. More or less no one is suggesting to stop paying taxes in this scenario, though...

Yeah, the tentacles are pretty great. Only downside is they (currently, anyway -- it may be fixed in the future) don't give XP for anything they kill. Quite useful, though, and you'll probably find even better ones later in the game.

E: Also, I may be misremembering, or it may have been fixed, but try aiming the tentacle outside the displayed range. Iirc, at one point, it would drop the thing wherever you put the cursor, rather than just where you were supposed to be able to put the cursor.

And I find it funny how on one hand, Bethesda is supposed not to profit from all these mods using their game, tools and IP, and on the other hand modders have their content stolen/reused is the literal end of the world.
... bethesda has been profiting from those mods using their game, massively, for literally over a decade.

Honestly, if you forgo a funeral and just have yourself encased in steel and shoved into a relative's house, it'd probably cost less. Metal really isn't all that expensive. Shit, looking at it, steel is running something like ~400 euros to the ton (note: A goddamn casket will likely run you something like 2k USD on the low end, checking it). I can guarantee you most funerals cost more than 400 euros, and you don't need a ton of steel to enshrine your corpse in refined ferrous glory.

Go cheap. Go amazing. Plate your rotting corpse in sheet iron.

Ok I have to give cred to "Dungeon Ni Deai Wo Moto... UGH NAME TOO LONG!"
... they gender swapped Hephaestus. And would appear to have gotten the wrong injury. I... I don't know what to think, now. Though I do kinda' like how they just sorta' flipped where the maiming was located along with his gender. Leg to eye, that's actually a little subtle.

Also the name on that main goddess really bodes poorly for her apparent interest in the shotatag's D.

E: And suddenly the norse arrive. Hello loki. I see you're doing the shapeshifting thing again. Please no horrific monstrosities flowing from your loins ;_;

E2: Also loki getting in a slap fight because of the size his tits is somehow delightfully absurd. I like this. It's even surprisingly in character! A thing loki would totally do. I get the feeling it's entirely unintentional on the part of the writer(s?) though.

But being doused in molten gold would at least kill me at some point of the process, so there's that.
Nah, you can survive that. It just has to be done very slowly, very carefully, and possibly in stages. Probably wouldn't survive much longer after, unless appropriate holes were left in the cast, but you can potentially at least last a little while after encasing.

E: And that's without getting in to stuff like cheating by wearing a cooled lead body suit or whatev'.
