... what support is there in the bible for a human like form, anyway? Anything beyond the fairly vague "made in image" thing?

It's fairly obvious the critter could take a monster form, though, I'd think. Or any form, really. Ascribing a set form to an omnipotent being is just kinda' silly.

... knights are painful to watch move. Like. Ow. Back. Also other things. That... support is important. Otherwise pain. I mean, I guess magic? But ow. Ow. It's actually a little distracting, and not in a good way. Wince inducing.

In other news, I'm currently hoping you can delete and recreate the challenge character and still get one of those growing weapon things. 'Cause I misread and knights can't use the blunt weapons, to my great sadness. Will know tomorrow, in any case...

Also on free weekend (but not with the awesome keep it if you play it feature) are the Endless games (Endless Space, Endless Legend and Dungeon of the Endless). Endless Legend and Dungeon of the Endless are 50% off, while Endless Space is 80% off. I found Endless Space to be a bit bland, if solid, game. The other two are spectacular, though.
... incidentally, the EL soundtrack is pretty nice, and bundled up as .mp3s right in the main game directory. I'm not saying it would be a good idea to get in on the free weekend and just copy the audio material elsewhere, but...

Face glowing sounds like fairly extreme radiation, t'me. Maybe some people survived the poisoning, but others didn't?

Alternately god's face violently extrudes some kind of paint. Some people drown in the paint, others come out with bioluminescent facepaint. Paint geyser face would be pretty incomprehensible to people back then.

Yeah, heaven's always been a thing described t'me as a place where unhappiness can't happen. Not doesn't, or won't, but can't. One of the reasons the chrisitian afterlife is just kinda' unilaterally horrifying to me. Eternity comes with massive forced behavioral modification (or unending torture).

That it's stripping free will is just... glossed over. That kind of, "Oh, but you won't want to be unhappy" sentiment, with little to no concern over why you won't. They care about free will in the denominations around here until they don't, more or less.

Or the whole line where if you're the kind of person that would be distressed by folks burning in hell or whatev', you don't get in.

How scripturally supported those positions are are... questionable. But that's (part of, anyway) how I hear it described by believers in this area.

Dunno if it gets worse going forward, but m'excorcist is having to burn, like, one item every five or six dungeons, at the most, to keep clear fragments well over 1k. Could significantly increase fragment skill usage and still largely maintain that -- a single high-ish (6+, iirc) level disassemble (which, to be fair, is usually a little expensive, but at that point splashing a few k is mostly trivial) will net 60-100 clear fragments pretty easily.

Admittedly, it being that trivial to keep in cubes is kinda' irritating (why bother having it if it's not going to actually be a bottleneck?), but it's not really something that stops you from using the skills, 'least from what I've seen.

edit- Hell, if you want to start your own projects, go ahead - I just want to point out that having a single small argument here just won't change much, and you should try and aim for bigger impact.
Anything is better than nothing. Every small bit helps. Perfect is enemy of good. Small changes lead to big ones. Small discussions lead to large ones. Maximizing impact is not a necessary or necessarily desirable goal. Improvement, or at least maintenance of a minimal good, is the goal.

Telling people they should stop trying to improve themselves because it's not a big enough impact is a pretty bloody toxic attitude, even if the intent is to prod them to do more.

It does, actually. That would make a good ominous latin chant.

... uh, considering there's not a C in the chemical formula N2O not being a carbon gas should be kinda' self-evident?

I'd be okay with that. It even has the bonus of inhumane cruelty towards chickens.

Good ol' viagra-equivalent spam. To translate: "An erection always requires the interaction of your brain, nerves, and blood vessels." The spacing was a poor attempt to get around spam filters :P

idk, I've heard of stories (maybe not true but who knows) where medical staff get babies mixed up.
I'm suddenly morbidly curious as to how many times a hospital could get away with swapping babies until a parent noticed...

Wake up. Hear rain. Go outside to see rain and pet cat. See turtle. Turtle nearly size of head. Put turtle in cage. Stare. Pet cat. Go back inside. Deal with turtle later. Ruminate on why dream spat out book title "Lusty Alsatian Puppy". Morning. Want go back sleep.

Not actually what I initially saw, though.

... my sleep deprived brain is really sad you didn't misspell that like I thought it did at first glance, ang. It would have been great OoCQ material.
